I wish I was given some warning in regards to the gluten free pizza base. There is a lot better available out there, so if you want pizza here definitely stick to the normal base. That's just from my experience. Otherwise it's been good to eat here on other occasions.

Great place for a meal if your in the area. Cosistantly good food. Your usual Pub grub. Great for a big group. We will eat here again.

Enjoyed lunch on a Friday with the family. Good choice of menu which arrived promptly after ordering. Delicious and as stated on the menu. Prices are reasonable and the surroundings very pleasant. Access for wheelchairs is good.

Nice atmosphere, fantastic kids room, nice food. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the friendliness of service which is up and down. Overall, a nice place for a meal.

We haven't been here for over 10 years. It was nice to see that the Pub has a real lovely ambience about it now that it's been done up. We enjoyed our meal.

Great little pub. The staff are friendly, the food and drinks are priced well and they have a genuine pizza oven that operates all day, not at set lunch and dinner times. Highly recommend venue A+

I thought we would have a great pub meal, but to find out we overcharged on our meals, which we got back, the beef nachos were rubbish , they was nexted to no meat in the meal all bean which I made a complaint for more meat and got a small serve, but overall not coming back to this after three times now of bad meals. The beers were great. T

My steak (250g rump) - requested to be cooked "medium" = dry and lacked flavour. Garlic prawn topper (3) again dry - baked potato = reasonable.

This was a return visit because we have had previous meals at the hotel when travelling. We were very satisfied on those occasions. This visit has not enticed us to look forward to another visit = very underwhelming.

I ordered the plant based burger (marked vegan) on the menu, it came out with cheese melted onto the bun. When I questioned it to the waitress she basically said that I needed to have ordered it vegan for it to be vegan as the coleslaw also has dairy in it. The menu doesn't say VGO, it just says VG, how is anyone supposed to know you have to ask for the plant based burger marked VG to be made vegan? They remade it and replaced the slaw with some lettuce, couldn't eat it as it was dry and awful. The young lady who served me at the counter was lovely though.

Amazing place in the middle of town however oh so sad about the general customer service and attitude. Manager is certainly NOT interested as I have complained about one meal and his answer was almost 'so what'. Staff are SO miserable, obviously not enjoying their work there. Food is hit and miss, sometimes really great, other times just very ordinary. WHY why why would you let a fabulous venue like this become so blah! :(

Order Black Pepper Rump and they charged daughter $4 for the peppercorn sauce that comes with dish. I asked for money back and manger refused. I asked if I could speak to manager but told he was too busy to talk to me. I said you will get a bad review and was told "It won't affect my pay." Great service ??'?

Good food but completely miserable or arrogant staff, they obviously hate working here. The older blond lady & older gent working the bars not suitable for this kind of work very unpleasant.

I have been here many times, food and service is fine but today was the first time I went to the mens toilet. These are VERY old stains on stainless steel that could be easily cleaned but it appears no effort has been made for a very long time. Its simply disgusting, and given how nice the rest of the place is I am amazed its been deliberately left this way. Not going back and I am still in shock really.

Exceptional service and spectacular food. 10/10 My husband had a chicken Parmigiana, tandoori chicken and daughter had a chicken nuggets kids meals.

Absolutely perfect blue 200g eye fillet, grilled mushroom, grilled cherry tomatoes, onion rings, beautiful salad and great chips with English beef gravy. Staff great will be coming again

Love this hotel now. Food used to be quite ordinary, but now it's fabulous. Staff are great. All round, a great place for lunch.

Awesome play room for young kids... seriously the best. We recommend not turning up after 7.30pm if looking for super friendly service though. The meals are good and decently priced but they close the kitchen at 8pm and we got the distinct feeling that they don't like to run late, which is understandable.

Food was burnt and over cooked. Charged for kids meals even though it was Sunday (kids eat free sunday) when we tried to get the mix up fixed up, was told it was our fault.

The 400g Rib Eye was thick and rare, as ordered. Unfortunately it was as tough and dry as an old boot! Tasted like a cheap steak, not the top of the menu beef that I'd hoped for. The "butter mashed potato" was some tasteless sort of chopped boiled spud, but the sauce was good. Bummer, it's hard to get a good steak in Cooroy.

Staff are great, facilities are great, location is great. Such a shame this place is so heavily let down by its food. I have given this place a go 6 times now and have been disappointed by the food each time. If they turned the kitchen around I would be back on the reg!

Can't fault it. Best kids room on the coast (low-tech, and supervised on weekends), great service, excellent food. We had a table of 8 people and every single meal was top notch, and great value too. Will absolutely be back.

Went for dinner as they have a supervised kids play area that you can watch via a TV screen.

Food was good and had good range of beers on tap.

We are Cooroy locals and often meet up with friends at the Cooroy Hotel for a chat , delicious food (always) in pleasant surroundings.

Staff often call us by our names and make us feel welcome.
Best part we don't have dogs around ,while eating , like down at the side walk cafes around Cooroy.

We were meeting friends from Brisbane for lunch, it is a lovely place to meet, the food was great, all our meals were delicious including dessert, all staff very attentive and polite, you have a great team working there.

If you are driving back to Brisbane or staying in the area, this place is a gem. Only a short distance off the highway, it is a great place for lunch. Lovely staff, great food and surroundings.

The fit our is fantastic honestly. Each section is well presented and fresh. The kids play area is good also, with a live feed so it give a bit of peace of mind. Unfortunately the service and food really let it down. Very sub par food for the price and mostly poor service

Meal was good value and the staff good happy and attentive.

Consistently poor (well, lack of service) weekday evenings. Five of us from a nearby sports club arrived to an empty bar with one other person waiting. We could all see someone cleaning tables. After 5 minutes she looked up and asked if we had just arrived. Odd question given the place had 4 other patrons in it and we walked right past her. She said, in a grumpy voice, I need to see your vaccine certificates so we all showed them (well some showed vaccination certificates and some that they had checked in but she didn't care). She then went back to cleaning the tables! So now 6 people waiting at the bar. We all left and went to the RSL instead where I personally wanted to go anyway as they are always welcome and friendly. The only reason we decided to try the Cooroy hotel was due to a positive experience on Tuesday night. This is the fourth time we have attempted to get a drink at the CH yet your bar staff don't want to serve us. The woman who was on last night around 2030 needs to learn to be polite when asking to see proof of vaccination (and actually check it) and be willing to serve us drinks. I contacted the hotel but have yet to receive a response after a few days.

The food and restaurant service here is awesome and well priced.
The Bar staff are ordinary to say the least. I waited 4 minutes at an empty bar twice and was ignored once.

Reasonable prices for good selection of quality food. Good selection of beers. Seniors meals available.

Lovely country pub, craft beers amongst the well stocked bar. Service was good, All meals were well presented and more than adequate with a good variety to choose from. Salmon was cooked to my liking on a very tasty salad. My friend had ribs which he said were perfect, husband had a really tasty Korean dish.
Good coffee.

A really nice country hotel without the "yokel" element ... fantastic friendly staff . High quality meals - have had dinner twice here and it's been extremely good food on both occasions. Highly recommend.

Great pub. Quality steak sandwich for lunch and ample parking.

Lovely setting. Friendly staff. Good prices with seniors specials and discounts on mains. $15 seniors Thai Salad with chicken was huge and delicious.

Great pub meals, all the classics, couple of different schnitzels/parmis to choose from, plus steak etc. Not too expensive. Modern dining room, option to sit inside or half in-out with large windows that open. Dessert was great too - creme brulee is recommended!

Good pub in that it does the simple things well. Food is tasty and quick and reasonably priced. Kids entertainment area etc. Not a large establishment but staff are friendly and experienced which made for a pleasant time.

Was here on Melbourne Cup day. The place was buzzing and popular with plenty of excitement. Had comfy lounges, plenty of TV screens, TAB, food, eating areas and quick bar service.

The meals were reasonable good for the price. Fresh oil used in fryers so the seafood basket was tasty, could add some more fresh sea food, coffee machine turned off far to early. As the soba driver this was a issue for me. Friendly staff with great service.
