My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at the Coolum Beach Hotel last night. Every one of the staff were very welcoming & provided us with genuinely happy & very personable customer service. Ashton who is also a staff member, was delightful to talk with and he took the added time to ask how our evening & dining experience was. As customers we appreciated this. He delivered a very high level of customer service and we certainly think he'd be a valuable team member for the Coolum Beach Hotel. We enjoyed our drinks & meal on the outdoor deck which was very comfortable with the heaters on and clear drop down blinds. It was great that our meals were delivered beautifully hot also. Thank you to all staff for providing us with a very enjoyable evening. We are returning again with our family at the end of the week & know a good experience will be had. We do live in Coolum Beach and it's fantastic to see that our Coolum Beach Hotel can come up trumps. Peter & Michele ~ Coolum Beach

Absolutely loved my afternoon here, beautiful food and location. Awesome peaceful chill vibe. The Staff are absolutely incredible, in particular Caitlyn who has a lovely work ethic, was so nice to talk to and made our stay so enjoyable. She really represents the high standard of your place! Keep doing what you do! The food was absolutely beautiful, fresh and quick! Will definitely be back and will definitely be recommending to friends and family!!

Had Lunch at the hotel today. Nice, clean bistro withe helpful and happy staff.
Had garlic bread for starters followed by Caesar salad with prawns. Garlic bread was pretty good. The Caesar salad with prawns. Enjoyed every mouthful. Really fresh and the prawns were great. Portion was good.
Would recommend to give it a try. Certainly would eat there again. 9 out of 10 from me.

My son and I had lunch on the 14/07/2024, at 12.30pm, I had fish and chips my son had chicken but within 1minute of sitting down with our drinks the food came out. My son and I said "that was quick" to the lady who bought it out to us......4 hours later I was violently ill....luckily I was at home.
I have lived here for 55 years and have eaten here with family on several occasions, sad to say I will not be eating here again.

We have been holidaying in Coolum Beach and have eaten three times at the hotel. Meals have been amazing, so much so I ordered the same meal twice. Great selection of local beers on tap and good wine list. The kids room is a huge bonus to keep the little ones busy so mum and dad can have a breather! Love the multiple areas to dine too. We will be sad to leave but look forward to our next trip!

Went for a group birthday party. Everyone served but myself and asked what I had ordered three times. When I received meal the chicken snitzel was very good but the salad was a bunch of shredded cabbage and nothing else. Very disappointed as I had ordered a main meal.

We have visitors over from Ireland and I accidentally booked the wrong date, but thanks to the excellent customer service by Ally she quickly got us a table for 9 and we had a great dinner!! Also we must thank Emily behind the bar who was extremely patient and efficient with our large drink orders!

We've been coming here for close to 5 months now and never disappointed.
Well managed , staff remember you and always welcomed with a smile .
Franco , Ali and staff awesome.
Steaks always done to order , calamari delicious, and the simple garlic always a must !

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at the Coolum Beach Hotel. All staff were very welcoming & provided us with genuine happy & very personable customer service. We enjoyed our drinks on the outdoor deck before enjoying our meals. My husband had the main course bourbon ribs and I ordered the Seniors Crispy fish & chips. Both were excellent. Generous servings, well presented and lots of flavour. The ambience of the dining setting also was to be commended. Thank you to all staff, including kitchen chef & team for providing us with a very enjoyable evening. We definitely will recommend & also return for another visit in the very near future. We do live in Coolum Beach and it's fantastic to see that our Coolum Beach Hotel can come up trumps.

I went twice to this place in a week. The first experience was equally as bad as the second. I had no choice the second time as there were 18 of us and everywhere else was booked.

The only real issue with this place is the food. If you want a good burger, go elsewhere. The patty's are dry. The whole burgers are worth 1 star. The chips are no good. They barely salt them, and if you try to salt them yourself using the shaker on the table it still doesn't work - they're old and blocked up. After I tried two different ones I gave up. Otherwise the service was good and seating ok if you can handle the sticky feeling of tables and chairs in the beer garden.

The food was so good. I ordered the Coolum tower. The ribs fell off the bone, the onion rings and wedges were seasoned well, the chicken wings were to die for and the sauces were great. The staff were friendly as well. The restaurant also looked beautiful. Loved it, would go again!

Have been for the past two weekends after discovering the live music events they had on a Sunday. Had a ball both times. Great food and drinks and such a fun atmosphere. Love that I can enjoy myself while the kids play in the games room

Had a lovely dinner out with friends that come up from Victoria. Food and service was fantastic. The brownies for desert are amazing. I can't remember the name of the senior waitress was extremely helpful, sorry forgot her name. She was on service Friday 25th August, a lovely young lady. Thank you again.

Dined here twice in the week we had. Good food, good service and nice atmosphere. It gets busy and we can see why. It also had a seniors menu and a kids menu, both reasonably priced.

This exceptional hotel boasts an incredibly convenient location with really good food, complemented by a manager who displayed outstanding attentiveness and experience that delighted the senses. However, the true highlight was the impeccably maintained kids' playroom, providing a delightful haven for our little ones.

Nice venue and views to the street.
Service was very sporadic on a quiet Tuesday lunch.
2 out of 3 steaks were rather tough for the prices charged.
Salad was the best part of the meal.

Dined at this hotel twice. First time everything fine except no salad on one of the meals. Second time was terrible! Four people at same table, two meals were served, one being a chicken ceaser salad - but without chicken! Had to wait and came out separately but two of the meals took so long the first person had finished. Certainly need to improve on service, but meals were acceptable.

Quick friendly service with a smile. Good variety on the menu. Four of us all enjoyed our meals. We were last to leave the dining area quite late but had staff hovering in case we wanted something.

My partner and I come here all the time for drinks and pokies, for the most part the staff are really friendly! We've shared a burger here before and it was really good so we thought we'd try a nice lunch but was very disappointed when the steak came out very much overcooked, the broccoli looked so old and was soggy same with the carrots! But the staff were very nice and gave me a free drink but sadly the food wasn't quite up to par

Great place to eat and relax with kids. It has a good playroom and the usual food options for kids.
Service was great. Good drink selection and even a reasonable champagne by the glass.
We had the pork belly salad and it was delicious. Even my husband polished it all off.
Lots of food options both healthy and vegan.
I would definitely be back again.

The attention in the bar is very good. In general the staff look after very well the costumers. The facilities and areas are well comfortable. Great ??'? place to bring friends, family and do your special celebration. There a lot of TV screens as you never go to miss a goal or a sport event. The best outside there is a giant LED screen.

We love this place so much we come here every Sunday for dinner! The best mash potato around and perfect parmys every time. Friendly staff, quick meals and plenty of seating options. Highly recommend if you enjoy a decent pub meal at a reasonable price :)

Always enjoy visiting Coolum Beach Hotel, alternative seating options creates a different atmosphere every time we go. Our favourite is outdoors, if we can snap up some comfy seats. Food is great we often get share plates, however do often have a larger meal. Reasonably priced for all. Atmosphere is always a different vibe, and continues to deliver a relaxing environment.

Food was ok. Chips and fish very greasy. The menu has 'chicken wings' and you choose sauce (we chose mild ranch) however they are hot and spicy wings with spice in the crunchy outer and they put red sauce on it as well as whatever sauce you chosen. This was NOT good when we got it without it stating how spicy the wings are. We couldn't eat them. Staff service was average.

Good atmosphere in beer garden.
Great live band playing.
Some nice wines and beers to choose from.
The food is VERY average.
And some of the bar staff should retired or never work amongst people again.

Food was amazing. Service was great! Took more than 40 minutes to arrive though. Just have one request. Please get rid of the online ordering system. It is confusing and I rather order physically than through a service that requires (and saves) my personal information for no reason and includes a useless card processing fee...

Delicious food so good we've been two nights in a row with 9 of us. Service was helpful and friendly. Booking a table is essential during the school holidays which we did. Ally is a 5 star employee outstanding service thank you so much we will be back.

Laid back beach bar, and a really good diner. The diner uses QR code menu/ordering but we found it quick and was painless. The Caesar salad and grazier's pie we had were generous and tasty. Good effort!

We enjoyed dinner with friends at Coolum Beach Hotel on Friday night. The online booking process was easy and worked well as our table was ready even though we arrived early. Could not fault the quality of the food and drinks, and the portion sizes were large. It was really good value for money, and the staff were friendly and appeared to be liking their work even though it was pretty busy. Will certainly be returning. Thank you to Coolum Beach Hotel.

Excellent service and smart service... they took the names of our lovely elderly residents as they ordered their meals, so instead of calling out steak ! they were able to call out the name of the person ☺️and since some people forget what they ordered or you've got to look at a list ... things went very smoothly. coffees cheaper than anywhere !! seniors meals were excellent ?still well-presented and good value

Today had one of the chefs specials, namely the Red Duck curry. Absolutely delicious. If you like Asian food give it a try, you won't be disappointed - it's really delicious! A little spicy but not too hot. I just hope it remains on the menu. Whoever prepared this dish - thank you so much, you made my day!

Hi, the food wasn't amazing. 3 of us had burgers and I expected them to be absolutely gorgeous from reading the menu but they were not amazing for the price. The staff were very attentive and helpful though and it would be hard to give such good service in such a large restaurant. Kids area was good too. Will come again.

Food was great. Bar staff could be more friendly. The outdoor bar staff girls didn't have the best of customer service when myself and others ordered today, it was hard to get acknowledged. Same issue with the inside bar, specifics the guy with tattoos gave the same service as if they did not want to serve customers or perhaps be there today. Once again, food was very well made and worth the money.

Xmas 2020 and another great lunch at The Coolum Beach Hotel. Vicki's organisation was faultless and everything flowed smoothly. Plenty of food which was all beautifully prepared and presented. The food was replenished as required and was still coming out even as we departed. The hotel itself was presented to reflect the Xmas season and Father Xmas made his usual appearance much to the delight of the children present. The staff were well trained and very pleasant in their interactions to all customers. Well done to all involved.
Will be there next year for sure.

Honestly really good food. I got two desserts and the ice cream was soo good and the waffle was heaven. The lava cake was OK. My friend got the chef suggestions pork cutlet and she loves it. The food took a little long but to be expected after only just opening again and full table service to patrons. Staff was super friendly and nice.

Great spot for a leisurely Sunday afternoon drinks and catch up with friends. Lots of different spaces cater for a variety of needs. Live music was energetic and lots of fun. Heaps of people dancing. Good prices and service. Food good as well.

My wife and I had a very nice lunch here ... while the premises lacked character, the food and wine were very nice an the staff were pleasant and efficient ...... canu2019t really ask for more..... some of the seating in the beer garden/alfresco area was u201cinterestingu201d and is designed for a younger clientele (we prefer not to lie down while eating) .... All said and done we had a excellent time and shall return when next in Coolum.

Pub was really cool on this steamy hot day. There were heaps of patrons enjoying a meal and enjoying a refreshment. Three of us enjoyed a 3- course seniors meal. Food was good, refreshments were cold and service was good. I'd certainly recommend this pub. A place has to be pretty damn good to get 5 stars from me.
