The employee at reception was more than friendly, and we felt welcome. On this occasion we didn't have an opportunity to dine in their eateries, but we enjoyed the finger food as part of a work function upstairs. The drink prices are on par with most other clubs. Their happy hour could be a bit more generous, and the security staff were a little bit imposing. Worth becoming a member at the cost of $5.50 for an adult and $2.20 for aged pensioners

Went Thursday night. Great raffel didn't win. Insert sad face. The meal was great. The back dining room was a bit dark, we had a large group and had to rearrange tables staff were helpful. Would be beneficial to join the club to get the discounts.

I rang this club at 4am and asked if membership was a condition of entry at this time. I was told we did not have to be members..so called an uber From Warrawong mc Donald's at $37.Myself and my partner dressed neatly.and had zero alcoholic drinks. The security bloke sitting behind the counter asked us how our night had been and where had we been.had we been drinking.
No we don't drink and we have been at mc Donald's we just called you on the phone 30 mins ago. So he says I have to see manage and the manager comes out asks the same questions and assumes we must been drinking and sorry it not going to be your nite . I asked why and he says we are closing soon. It was 5 am and they had told me on phone they shutting at 6..note that a customer had entered 2 mins before us and another custome entered r ten mins after we were told they are closing.JUST BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE DRESSED UP AT 5 AM AND WANT TO ENTER A LICENCED CLUB DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE DRUNK.i hope our first nations people apperance didn't sway their decisions.

We went to Collies last night and firstly the food and especially the Philly Steak pizza was terrible. Then we went upstairs and i bought two Mountain Pale Ales, the beer was thick and soupy and didnt taste right. We took them back full and the supervisor said we picked so we were stuck with it. She said she tasted it and it was the way it was supposedbe. I wondeted if she had ever had a schooner of thst beer to have something to compare it to.We werent trying to get a free beer just a decent beer. I am at a loss as to this customer service.

Wasn't the first time eating there but probably will be the last, the venue was far from capacity for a Saturday night but that didn't stop long wait times regardless of which bar you decided to try your luck at, factory restaurant unable to sell 3/4 of its menu due to no stock by 7pm, entire table served and eaten before myself and partners meals were even sent up despite all ordering at the same time and to top it off a delightful stench of raw sewerage floating around the live music bar downstairs. You're getting a 1 only because 0 isn't an option.

Nice place to eat with friends, with a choice of decor and types of food. Easy parking in their outside car part too. The staff on the front desk have always been friendly and welcoming and edgar to help, when I was first signing in.

Lots of restaurants choices within the club. The Kitchen Charlotte had fast and efficient service however the meals were a bit of a let down. Very salty pork cutlet and no creaminess to the dish to break up the saltiness. Salty and tough salt and pepper calamari.

Lovely atmosphere and design. Friendly staff.

Had dinner here in our way home from a show, not busy at all. Food took longer to come out then it has any other time we've been and they were busy. Chips were cold food was tasteless, salads had no dressing. When asked for dressing for salads they said they'd run out so we asked for some olive oil and vinegar, apparently also ran out. Asked to have new chips cooked as ours were cold, told fryer was off, yet still people ordering food and only 730pm? Never again

Family dinner night out, the food was quick and delicious. Very well prices for a family of 7, 3 restaurants yo choose from and you can sit in any and get food from them all. A great night with good facilities. Gaming and bars well placed, atmosphere is always nice.

I attended the Wollongong venue last night 4 March for a farewell event.

I witnessed my friend getting discriminated against based on what she was wearing. She was wearing a bustier top and was told she would need to cover up to enter. She was told it did not meet dress code.

She borrowed a friends shirt but being a warm night became hot and took it off.

I would like to highlight there were plenty of women including myself showing cleavage, women in crop tops, mini skirts and bustiers in that venue last night. They were not discriminated against, told to cover up it kicked out of the venue so why single one woman out?

This kind of behaviour, particularly with International Women's Day events coming up is absolutely disgusting. I would like an explanation as to why wearing a bustier with cleavage is somehow wrong or not allowed?

The fact that it was also displayed by a fellow female is even worse!

Women behind the bar heard me talking about this and confirmed they also feel the dress code is misogynistic and they themselves dislike working on the door due to these unfair dress code rules which tend to discriminate against women because they are not dressed modestly enough. One staff member had even been in trouble for their outfit at the Christmas party. This is 2023 people! What an absolute joke. Especially when you chose to enforce these rules on only some women.

I would suggest a serious review of your policies as regulating women's clothing isn't it.

Great service, good atmosphere, really rate this club over any other in the area. We're happy to drive up from Shellharbour from time to time to visit this club. Great variety of food.

Been a member for years and consistently dined at both Charlottes and The Factory but the food quality has gone down hill big time, more often then not I have to take my steak back to have it cooked to my liking or some other issue where they forget something i've ordered.

I will say on my last visit I got a burger from the fish place which was actually surprisingly good but overall I don't think it's enough to convince me to return to Collegians again.

First up I parked my car in there parking lot early about 10am one day as I had a few things to do near by but returned for lunch to find a sign taped to my car telling me not to park here again. I'm a member and was dining at your club, but I bet if I was pumping money into your pokies for 2 hours before lunch you wouldn't have said anything.

Another gripe I have is the portion sizes of some food items can be a struggle for my wife and I think it's rude you don't give take away containers besides pizza boxes. Few times i've had to take home half a Pasta or a Salad in a pizza box.

Customer service at the sign in counter can be painfully bad as well, looking forward to letting my membership expire and never coming back.

Kitchen on Charlotte very disappointed, party of 3 visited after 3 years and the food quality has deteriorated immensely. I decided on the surf and turf ($45) steak was ok , 3 small prawns, cold calamari and a few veg, my companion had the pork roast ($20) , for starters she was told she could not have salad & chips as it came with vegetables, all was stone cold and the pork tasted like it came out of the fridge. Third companion ordered the chicken and prawns ($30) again very cold, we debated whether to complain but instead decided it would be our last visit. Cafe coffee and cakes redeemed them a little.

We dined @ the Kitchen tonight & the food was terrible. The Brisket with Mac and Cheese lacked seasoning, it was very bland. The Veal Schnitzel wasn't Veal, it was Yearling and it was overcooked and dry to the point of being inedible. The price was for Veal. The only high point was the Garlic Bread. Not going back!!!

Our family had dinner at the restaurant down stairs. We ordered 2 platters and between 4 adults there was a decent amount of uneaten food left over. We asked for a takeaway container, we were told no, I asked for aluminium foil, again I was told no (although I could see it).
I then said, so we're supposed to throw away good food? He said Yes!. I've never been to a restaurant where they do this.
My advise is either DONT order a platter or take Tupperware with you.
There was also no plates for a birthday cake and we had to eat it off napkins.
I've been to Collegians many times and this time was not a very positive experience.

Food has gone down hill.
Ordered 2 cheese pizzas with garlic sauce. Was charged $3 for garlic sauce. Not much on there 1 pizza burnt. Wouldnt redo.
Son still hungry so got kids chips chicken nuggets no salad $10 5 nuggets 17 chips son counted. Wow waste. So disappointed. An absolute waste of money. Esp considering I just feed 2 kids $50 later. I didn't eat cause I ran out of money.
Beer wasn't tested before so waited ages as bar lady was just getting froth. Other beer returned not cold. We just wanted soft drink. But no idea how to keep service going.
Then the raffles are drawn 1 number and held till that person claims. Extremely slow. Will never return even with a $20 birthday voucher it's an absolute joke for a club now.

Only tried the one dish. Several spots to get food stuff from. The Rangers Rib Eye steak was melt in your mouth gorgeous. Reasonably priced for the serving size and quality. A hang out for the gang. Wouldn't call it fine dining but a bit more than casual.

Reception were helpful and friendly and the bar staff were a little inexperienced but still offered good service. The food was delicious but the ordeal to get the food was torture. Everything was a hassle from getting our order put on to one buzzer to adding vegetables to one order and chips to another. After a stressful day at the hospital what a difference good service from The Kitchen would have made to our experience.

Reception had no idea about member's prices on the menu. I get the message that Reception is very isolated from the restaurant product.I suggest you offer a Seniors card membership which would be the same price as the aged pensioner membership.Because the restaurants did not accept 'Dine and Discover' vouchers, we decided to enjoy dinner at the Master Builder's Club.

Visited the Collegians club with some work colleagues for a few drinks and a bite to eat.Getting into the venue is a pleasant experience with friendly staff ready to help you with covid QR compliance and signing into the club. The club is your usual mix of pokies, bars and restaurants and has a pleasant enough ambiance and vibe. The bar had some lovely beers on tap including a really nice local south coast pale ale and an IPA from Canberra. We grabbed a meal from the main upstairs dining area Kitchen on Charlotte. The options were pretty good and included your usual pub fare with some more refined options.I had the Ham topped Chicken Parmigiana with veggies and mash potato. It was a decent enough meal and a HUGE serving!!My colleagues all had generous servings and all enjoyed their meals.A nice place for a good meal and great value for money if you grab their daily specials. All the staff were lovely and very friendly, especially at the bar .Thanks

Impressive place and friendly staff at the door to sign you in. Lots of choice when it comes to dining... but nothing really stood out, and it wasn't cheap. At all. Hit and miss with the remote devices to fetch your food, as well. Lots of room for big groups.

This place is very VERY big. When we visited it was extremely empty though so there was no possibility of us getting lost.

The bar staff and particularly those on the front door are very helpful and kind.

Prices of drinks are standard for the clubs in the area. Nice list of cocktails and they're more than happy to help if you have a drink request that's not on the menu.

Plenty of parking just outside.

The gaming area is actually quite impressive with their selection of machines. Not just standard pokies but also have electronic blackjack and roulette tables.
