We stayed in a family room- 2 adults, 2 kids. Very clean, all needs and expectations met. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed a family movie at night, as tv mounted where everyone could see, from the beds.
Location excellent, walk to shops and take away - 2 minutes.

Wouldn't recommend eating at this bistro. Really over priced, the food took and hour to be served to us and was very undercooked. We paid $37 for a steak that we asked to be medium cooked and was rare, paid $26 for a quinoa chicken salad, the chicken was undercooked and so was the quinoa.

I will give credit to the atmosphere though, had live music which was nice.

To anyone visiting, eat elsewhere beforehand and just come for a drink.

Refurbish rooms small but has everything you need including cutlery and dishes toaster fridge etc. excellent value for money in a standard room with additional single bed. Walking distance to town well located with kids play area

Goulburn District Hockey Women's Masters took 96 people away for the NSW Womens Masters State Championships 28-30 July 2023. We had our dinner at the Coachman on the Friday night in our own private room. Food, service, presentation was all top notch. Can highly recommend & will gladly book again!

Great family friendly motel. Good meal and friendly staff.. nice big playground. Clean and spacious room for the price very reasonable.. just don't lock yourself out of the room at 6am as you can't call anyone after hours to help and need to wait outside till 8M for cleaner to start..

Fantastic location in the heart of Parkes and the pub is great, as are all the staff, especially housekeeping but unfortunately the rooms don't measure up, they are dirty and in need of a refurb. Bathroom tiles very dirty, holes in the wall and the carpet an iron burn. It seemed a very popular hotel with tradies etc and the rooms are priced accordingly so you can't fault that.

Very convenient location and room was simple yet spotless. Can get a bit noisy with patrons from the pub but that sorts itself out towards the end of the night. Excellent customer service in modifying my booking due to a missed flight. Room had everything I needed, including a hair dryer.

Convenient location just off the Main Street. Tony was most helpful. The room was neat and clean, nice size, comfy bed. Pub meal was delicious!!

My wife and I came to Parkes to experience the first two days of the 2023 Elvis Festival and had an AMAZING time, thanks partly to being located smack-bang in the middle of all the excitement at the Coachman Hotel Motel.
Centrally located, after parking the car in front of our room we could walk practically anywhere we needed to, and if was pretty hot so a few drinks were needed to keep hydrated and because we weren't driving there was no need to watch how much was consumed.
The room was comfortable and good value for the price paid. It wasn't a five-star Hilton, but we weren't paying five-star dollars.

Great location, service and clean room.
Just wish the bed's headboard didn't have built-in overhead lighting, so low.
It's uncomfortable for sitting up and is home to spiderwebs.

The Coachman Hotel located in Parkes has a bistro the food is good. the staff r polite and the service is quick. The motel rooms r clean the beds r comfortable will stay again.

Didn't stay here, just stopped off for a quick meal and a drink. Great pub food. Lots of variety. Quick service. Some staff happy and smiling and others just doing their job. It's the night before the Parkes Elvis Festival starts so the town is very busy. I had the mixed Taco Tuesday plate.

Didn't stay in the motel but came for a feed with my daughter. Food was pretty good and finally a pub that makes proper Dianne sauce.
Only reason they didn't get 5 stars was wait time was a little long and in the words of manu " where's the sauce " both meals could have done with more sauce.

I would have no problem coming back again on the next trip this way

Motel was ok very small rooms location was good and the bistro had good meals,mondays is 2 meals pay for one,can really recommend the schnitzel with mushroom bacon qnd cheese topping with the potato bake.

We didn't stay in the motel, ventured out for a catchup dinner with friends.
Some of the bar staff were more friendly and appeared to want to be at work then one of the others!!
We ordered 3 "steak of the days", 2 were cooked to perfection, tasty and lots of vegies, the third was a disgrace. Yes, may not pay as much due to being a "special" but it was almost "blue" and full of gristle. The salad was almost non existent.
Thankfully it was only 1 out of 6 meals that was ordinary, and the company was great.

The rating is for the improved menu, tasty meals with healthy offerings and very reasonably priced. Wide selection menu. All good for food , service & location.

Unfortunately the Motel area is still a very congested with parking and a children's playground in the middle

We've recently held my Grandma's 80th birthday lunch at the Parkes Coachman for 23 people. We couldn't rate it high enough. We were in the function area, table was set up with table cloths then we added table decorations etc. We'd given the guests three options for lunch that was booked in prior to the day. The food came out on time, all at once and was yum and hot! Everyone was very full and happy with their meal and dessert. Nothing was a hassle for the events and bar staff. Great service all round.

1 night stop over. Room were dirty and full of dust, bathroom has mould all through the shower screen and in the tiles. Kids play area needs work. Slip n slide moves all over the place when kids go down it. Dinner was dread full. Burnt breads, coachie burger pattie was awful. The steak was stewed and had a old taste about it. Stay elsewhere and eat elsewhere next time. For yhe price of the room we expected a little better than what was offered

We went here for tea. It was great. Good size, very yummy, gpod price and.good service. The motel accomodation was a bit old but it was.clean and comfortable and quiet.

Room was small but clean. Perfect for our one night stopover in Parkes. Being attached to the Coachman pub was really handy. Good pub food and drinks with a 30 second walk to our room. There's an outdoors children's play area and a laundromat too.

Great accommodation. Clean comfortable and very central. We were a party of 3 blokes and it worked out super cheap in a huge room with 4 beds!

Great steak sandwich. Clean and tidy pub. Worth stopping here.

Driving though on a road trip... popped in for lunch... honest down to earth food... just beautiful. I had the pork roast and crackling with vegetables and hubby had the steak sandwich. Generous portions and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend a visit.

My IN-Laws stayed here on the way to see us. immediately they were given a bad taste about this place. the staff were rude, there was zero covid safety in place, over all its frustrating i get that but its not hard to give good service and follow covid rules, especially with an outbreak at the moment. cleaning tables, chairs menus etc with the same cloth is not the best, i think many would agree.

Clean and comfortable. Very well equipped. Reasonable priced. Very close to the pub. Shame about the drunk that kept everyone awake banging on his door all night to get in to his room.

We went to the raffle last night and it was really lovely, lovely staff and a great playground for the children

We stay at the motel everytime we come to Parkes. It's comfortable, it's right in the heart of town & the managers are awesome. The feed at the pub is beautiful. On this trip I just had the pumpkin & feta arancini balls which were so filling, a little bit to salty for me but I mixed it with a little salad & it was great. Hubby had mixed grill & said it was awesome. Definitely recommend coming here.
