Great course with many nice views of the bay. We were lucky to have amazing winter weather. The greens were extremely fast and challenging.

Clifton Springs Golf course is a very nice golf course, with great views of Port Phillip Bay. They layout is challenging with tree lined fairways, especially with the wind off the water. With Santa Ana fairways and bent and poa greens make interesting round of golf.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, this made us all feel welcomed.
Would recommend you give this place a visit if in the Geelong area.

Have been going to this place few times a week as it is very close to home. Food has been a hit and miss but because we were allowed to have our dog ( miniature toy puddle) with us on the deck we kept on going anyway.
Last night I was disgusted how the manager handled the situation.
After we set down, ordered the food and the drinks we were told that we have to take the dog out.
There was no " excuse me" no "please" and no "sorry"
Then I said sorry I didn't see any sign that dogs are not allowed anymore. And the manager just said we don't have to put any signs.
Then I told her that my dog was an assistant dog and I asked her if she wanted to see the paperwork. She replied I don't care I don't need to see anything. So we just left.

Just to top it up my dog doesn't bark doesn't run around but sits quietly on my lap all the time.

It makes me wonder if the manager has a certificate in hospitality and if she does, where did she buy it?

This place is a hidden gem. Great food and stunning views. 😍 wheel chair accessible, games room for those who like a flutter. The outside eating area is well appointed. Order and pay, meals brought to the table. We had a large table, and all were happy, including the chicken nuggets for kids.

The one star review is for the cleanliness of the facilities. Ordered the porterhouse steak, it was to be cooked well done, I think it might have been microwaved and cooked slightly on the outside. It was still alive on the plate and like rubber even the steak knife was a struggle to cut through it. When I spoke to the waitress her response was next time if I come back and that's all I understood. Anyway I won't be back and wish I spent my money elsewhere today.

Great atmosphere, beautiful scenery, reasonable prices and great benefits of being a member. Have eaten here twice now. Both times meals were good, brisket was a little dry and the Massaman curry was a little watery. But all in all, still enjoyed the food and the venue.

We just had breakfast at the club. Good menu to choose from. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was perfect. Wonderful view, open fire and a great way to spend a winter's morning. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Good spot by the beach. Course is pretty beginner friendly. Greens were all pretty nice.

Not bad for a Bistro at a Golf Club. I have been here in the past, and the meals were ordinary. Now the meals are better than average, but could be better priced. Expansive dining area, and the outside area has recently been expanded. Unfortunately this means encouraging those filthy smokers.

What an outstanding place to play golf! Loved the manicured fairways, fast greens, challenging pin placements and quiet country feel! The up and down course gives you a real physical work out too!

Do not order the steak. The $40 , 150 day old porterhouse steak was so disappointing that will never go back ..
told them that it was all just fat but they didn't seem to care. Worst steak I've ever had ....

We can't get enough with this course. It has a unique sense of happiness when you are here. The layout is amazing, you will love the grass of the fairway, the green is slick and fast. We love hole #5,#6 and the whole back 9 as it is on the edge of the cliff and overseeing East Geelong.
In addition to the beautiful course, the staff at the pro shop are great, they manage the tee off very well.
We play on Saturday afternoon, non so crowded the pace of play was about right.
Unfortunately we had no chance to dine in the cafeteria. So could give any review on the foods.
The booking was very easy.

Ordered kid's fish and chips for my son. I also ordered fish and chips. When it arrived his was undercooked... raw. We asked the waitress to take it back only for her to return with a response from the kitchen... that the fish WAS cooked... it was pink, cold in the middle, gross.... RAW!! And for a child, nonetheless (mine was cooked). With over a decade experience working in commercial kitchens as a chef, I needed exactly none of that experience to confidently make the observation that the fish was bloody raw! Just general knowledge of what raw fish looks like. While I understand the mantra of 'customer is always right' can be grating in an industry when they are, at times, not right, I reiterate, the fish was friggin raw. It was for a 4 year old. We were offered no apology, just and arrogant response from the kitchen, and a 30 minute wait for a new dish to be sent out. I received dagger eyes and attitude from the waitress for the remainder of the time (btw, chefs, stop sending foh staff out to give stupid explanations/excuses to patrons, do it yourself). Chef/s with inflated ego, clearly unable to admit fault, wait staff with attitude. Nice venue, once matched by its service standards. Not anymore. Won't be back.

Had an ok day at CSGC today. Greens pretty good and surprisingly hard but the fairways were in poor condition and very boggy in many areas of the course.admittedly, its been very wet down that way rhis year but I couldn't see it getting in better condition, even in the summer. Not worth $47 for sure. Shame - layout is pretty good and pro shop staff very welcoming.

For $10 weekday lunch, there was nothing to complain.
Service, food taste & presentation, envirement were great.

Coffee could be better though.

Golf club is away from main road, nice and quiet, will like to try next time.

Food & staff excellent! $10. menu fantastic! Moorabool Shire's elderly Social Support Group really impressed & want to go back.

Great 18 hole course for the price. Can be windy off the bay so check forecast before play. Great restaurant with $25 parmas and cold tap beer. Will be back

6 for lunch today the $10 lunches were the choices today and they didn't disappoint. Most of our guests hadn't been here before and were blown away by the views and hospitable staff. I had told them the big open fire maybe lit but unfortunately it wasn't but it was still a great lunch. Everyone said they would be back as the meals were value for money and the venue great. Meals and drinks ordered an paid for at the bar and brought to the table so very convenient for large groups. Our meals all came at the same time. It is a fabulous place to take guest to the check out the region. Recommend

What a great golf course. Carpet fairways, slick greens. Staff absolutely super. Recently held a corporate day. The staff could not be more helpful. A must if your looking for somewhere to play golf, as a four or as a corporate day. Do yourself a favour. Go visit and play.
