By far one of the best venues I have experienced. Coming up from Sydney a tucked away is one of Raymond Terrace's hidden "treasures". As you walk through the doors, smell the fantastic food and take in the outback nature, you are greeted with some of the friendliest smiles the country has to offer. I was welcomed by staff, locals and not to mention the locals even gave me a hand unloading my vehicle. Magical, Warm, Safe, Home and Family are words that come to mind from my short trip and experience. Thank you for making my day and thank you for making my time in Raymond Terrace a memorable one. Five stars is not enough. If I could give ten I would.

Nice food but won't go back , the foul mouthed drunk lady in the back ground , pissed loud people in the eating area , that can ruin any venue

The addition of "The Table" to this pub has really brought the place up, especially in terms of providing Raymond Terrace with more culturally diverse cuisines. Both the Filipino and Thai menus are great, and come at a reasonably price point.
If this was a review for "The Table" on it's own, this would be 5 stars, but the pub of "The Clare Castle" is the let down. If you're a local, or a regular, you'll be fine. If not though, you will be stared down by the regulars and the bar staff will be oddly short and arrogant towards you. The locals also can't hold their liquor and tend to carry-on

Always a great place :- to sit relax with friends :- have a couple of drinks :- while trying the snacks an having a stab playing the pokies :- the staff serves is always second to none.....???"????'?

It took 10 minutes to place our order because the guy behind the till was new and didn't know what anything was. 45 mins later the chicken wings and sate skewers came out. 10 minutes later came the bowl of chips and 30 mins later the main courses. A request was made for a container because one of our group had to go back to work and he tried to charge for it ! If it was busy I could understand it but there was our group of 4 and one other table. The food when it arrived was not even luke warm except for the rice. Really disappointed.

This id the best thai food i have ever eaten. Do yourself a favour and try there Penang curry with coconut rice it is absolutely amazing.

This little pub has come such a long way!
Always met with smiling, welcoming and friendly staff with food that is by far the best in Raymond Terrace.
Our new go to for food, a nice cold drink, Sunday music and a good time!

Came for lunch with my partner, he had the Massumum beef curry and I the Chicken Satay Salad. The food was exceptional and of large size, with great, helpful and friendly service.

With covid and chef failures, a big turndown in patron. Gave it a go tonight. A lot of upgrading going on buildingwise. Small menu at the moment, food fresh and tasteful. Will be trying it again. Give them a go. It will improve.!!

A cheerful, tidy little venue packed with country charm. The drinks are wonderfully cold, and as you walk in, you feel welcomed to a small town pub without the air of pretentiousness. The menu is simple food made with love and the staff are friendly and eager hosts. A big recommendation from me!

Got my order wrong , then when I got the vegetables they were Luke warm. Garlic bread nice. Pity they mixed up the order and didn't keep the food hot.staff great and friendly

I had chicken schnitzel, chips and salad. The salad had no dressing and the snitty was the smallest I have ever had. The chilli topper had sweet chilli sauce on it, not hot at all. Overall a very average meal.
