Stunning service by the host/ supervisor!! Yesterday lunch good value for a laugh meal suggestion!! Scotch fillet was on point!! Katie worked so hard n the boys did a wonderful job under the pump it was busy Monday ... clearly a well managed team we will be back very shortly!! Don't take the ribs off the menu 😉 scallopini and Vietnamese calamari salad was Delightful!!! Thanks again to the chiefs and the bar staff and a huge thank you to the bistro supervisor who is always amazes us with his warmth and hospitality!!! Well what can I say? The bistro manager Todd IS the Cherry Hill Tavern. The food at times is up and down. But Todd is always there. With a smile and wonderful customer service skills that others these days could learn by. He never stops working only to provide customers with the wonderful service that makes them feel like they are the only customers there. Even when we get a steak that is seriously overcooked, he doesn't argue. He just gets it fixed with a smile. Customer service 101 !! Give that man a promotion!!

We went for 10th birthday dinner @ Cherry Hill, semi busy public holiday night. Not many staff on, so all were working very hard. Food was perfect and great value for money. Hats off to the hard working chefs, especially in the heat! Thanks to Todd, Naomi and Chris who all provided excellent service! We will be back!

The Cherry is my go to for dinner or drinks and has been for many years. However I feel like the menu could do with a bit of an update. My biggest disappointment with the menu is that the Chicken Burger is no longer available. This was one of the best chicken burgers that I have had. Even if it is for a quick bite in the Sports Bar, the chicken burger was my go to!

A couple more pasta options in the Bistro would be great.

Another couple of things I wish to raise in this review is that I've noticed is that on a public holiday, there never seems to be enough staff working, and the staff that are working are completely run off their feet.

Todd, who is regularly on hand in the Bistro when we are dining, is always so pleasant and accommodating and goes over and above to assist in any way.

Peter at the Bar is also equally fantastic with making our cocktails (and coffees) and is always very pleasant.

Oh and please, please bring the chicken burger back!

Not bad spot for a local pub. Food is...pub food. Sticky Date Pudding was decent. I will say the food came out quite swiftly after ordering, and the staff were attentive and professional.

We arrived late for dinner the kitchen had closed 10min ago, our server Todd was so helpful and asked the head chef Amanda and Anthony in the kitchen what they could make for us. Food was delicious, super quick to come out. Definitely come back again 🙂

Took my parents here mid-week for lunch. Food was average which reflects on the price as well. My Mum had the chicken schnitzel, which she found to be hard to eat as it was very over cooked. She didn't want to make an issue of it but enjoyed the salad and chips. I had the chicken burger which was a little tasteless and it lacked seasoning. Dad had fish of the day which was 'good'. On a plus side, everyone enjoyed the garlic cheesy bread and the atmosphere and the window views of this venue.

I haven't been back at Cherry Hill since well before Covid times.
I remembered it to be okay...just average and I was hoping it to have improved since my last visit since it is the closest bistro to where I live.
Unfortunately, it still is just average. Nothing terrible. I think the biggest disappointment was my meal. I order a fillet steak (medium rare) with prawns and a pepper sauce on the side.
The pepper sauce was awful. I was grateful I had it on the side. How can you get a pepper sauce wrong?
The fillet steak was cooked properly but nowhere near as tender as you would expect a fillet steak to be. Something wasn't quite right.
It was a Wednesday night and I dined with my family (5 of us).
The place looks a bit cleaner and more ordered that what I remember it so that's a positive.
I will give it another go...maybe it was just a poor menu choice or a bad night.

A massive thank you to Hannah and Todd for their outstanding service. So friendly and kind with the ability to cater for a large demanding group. I appreciate your warm hospitality and patience, it made the night so enjoyable. Legends x

Enjoyed the relaxing lunch time on a sunny day. We didn't expect too much on food taste actually, but not bad. Price was good in and had enough choices

Chicken Schnitzel was excellent, one of the better crumbs I've had in a long time. Chips were fresh and crispy. Beer was nice cold and fresh from tap. Staff were friendly and helpful

Always a great experience, so I thought it was time for a review. Been coming here with mates for a few years and the food is always great and the beer fresh ( clean beer lines). Staff and management are friendly and it's just a nice relaxing place for a meal and drinks. Highly recommend

We were late to arrive for dinner. Kitchen almost closed. Yet the chef took our order.
They prepared a magnificent meal.
I had the BBQ pork rib's cooked to perfection. Can't wait to come back for the ribs again
My fiancée had the eye fillet medium rare, once again cooked to perfection.
The waiting staff were very courteous and friendly and only too happy to oblige and cater to our every need

Best Hotel in the East! I am a picky steak eater, but Chef does the BEST rump in town. My family have been dining here for years, including many Xmas lunches. (Last year was bloody brilliant!) Never had a poor steak meal and the share platter is a gem. Todd and the other staff are brilliant. So friendly and competent. Such a wonderful bistro to just relax, get a great a delicious meal at a reasonable price, a cold drink and chill out. I personally don't go in for the pokies or TAB, but it's there, very discreet if you want that too. Lastly, thanks Chef for your outstanding salt/pepper calamari, better than any Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. Thank You! Mark

Had such a great experience at cherry hill yesterday especially with Todd! Amazing customer service and took care of our table. Made time to make it a special experience for my family and recommended special Christmas lunch which we all enjoyed... also checked back with the table and refilled our water bottle ... top shelf service even though it was rely busy!!! I had the Chef's special Pork Belly with a drink of cider on tap. Both very nice. Meal was a good size too. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice dining area with great views.

The staff here are an absolute gem - very friendly, attentive and the floor manager has a great sense of humour. My family like to come here for the kids playspace, which makes a huge difference for the parents and grandparents to have a breather whilst enjoying a meal. The menu is standard fair and to be honest is fairly average. Prices aren't crazy but the quality hit and miss. I had a vegetable salad with additional calamari and I was underwhelmed for the price. But what was more weird was the 'fetta' resembled white jelly. Not sure if its just a different variety I've never heard of but seriously...it wasn't cheese but jelly! It was tasteless. My mum had the seafood basket and all her chips were stuck together - it was kinda funny watching her eat it but I've never seen something like that. My sister's pie looked good. Summed up - floor staff amazing, kitchen/food quality - interesting....

Hi. Have been happy with Cherry Tree up until COVID. Regularly come for a Seniors meal which was always good value. Excitedly attended the Christmas in July lunch and I'm afraid it was very low standard. What happened to the roast veggies and proper cuts of meat. The soup was watery with no meat in it. The pudding was straight out of a container plonked on the plate. Today I had The Surf and Turf. The steak was so thin that there was no way you could other to your request. I bought sandwich steaks which were thicker. If you don't do it properly don't do it. However the staff including Todd and the Manager of Greek heritage are just a delight. Worth more money those two. They make the experience well worth it. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Ditch the meals that aren't of value and keep the others which are good. Will return but not for steak which has been my weekly treat.

From entry to exit the service great. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The value in terms of food was amazing. Food was good and the menu was vast but not daunting as they were all great sounding dishes. Absolutely kid friendly with the internal play area which was a major plus. Highly recommend this venue to parents wanting a stress fee night out for a good meal but equally recommend for anyone just wanting a good meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

Beautiful large meals at great prices, wonderful friendly staff, excellent play area for children... Couldn't ask for anything more... We will differently be returning.

Good location, right off the highway. Plenty of parking, partially under cover. Views from the outside tables are nice. Can see some mountain and apartments. Table is a bit sticky, probably from cleaning products. Had to go up and get our own table water and glasses. Prices are average. $24 for fish a chips, $20 parma. Big serves. Lots of fish and lots of chips. Chips have quite a bit of salt on them. Fish was perfectly cooked, quite tender and the batter was tasty. Tartare sauce was nice, salad had a bit too much dressing on it.
Three of us received our meal well after other seven on our table. Around 7 minutes later, despite ordering at the same time.
Have to order with QR code on the table, which is where you pay as well.
Two people got the wrong sized drinks. Ordered a pint but got a small, had to ask for new ones which they were good about. Replaced them quickly.
There is a playground for children.
We were sat next to the door which was very cold as people went in and out.
There are ZERO vegetarian and vegan options. Seniors and kids menu is $10 each, quite cheap. Staff seem quite friendly. Large area for dining. A bit dark, but has a 'tavern' vibe, which fits. Won't be in a hurry to come back, but wouldn't be against it.

Hi, just would like to inform you that I came in and I was refused to use my discount card on a seniors meal, it happened to me twice, Alex was compassionate and helpful but his manager refused, so I took my family to shoppingtown hotel and had no problems or issues there
Being the same company I find it a bit confusing where to go and where not to go as I have family in both areas, if someone can get back to me I would really appreciate it, thank you Anna, hope to hear from you

Our group all enjoyed a nice pub meal tonight. The food came out quickly and the meal sizes were generous, The barramundi was delicious, crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle. The men ordered the rump steak which was cooked just the way they like it. They highly rated the chips because they were crispy and there were lots of them. All the salads came with a zesty vinaigrette. We were looked after by Todd who was friendly and attentive. If you are after a good value and tasty meal, then look no further than the Cherry Hill.
