Came here for a quick catch up with a friend. Service was kind and quick, the lady was helpful when my friend had a request and she did her job well and efficiently. To note: it was very quiet and stormy that day.

Something I found very odd and unprofessional: The ginger haired lady that took over her shift changed from jeans to a skirt behind the bar. Having managed many hospitality venues, this is absolutely a no-go. I do not need- nor want to see your underwear popping out when you are too 'lacking?' To change in the ladies room before the shift starts. The lady in question was already in 10min prior to her shift. So there was no reason why she could not change beforehand and out of sight of guests.

Great place to relax in Chatswood. Good price for food and drink. Plenty of outdoor space ?

It's been a few years since I last visited and the downstairs bar is currently undergoing a renovation but, other than that, it hasn't really changed much since I was last there.
Nothing special. Good for a quick beer or if you have some time to kill. It wasn't busy and the staff were efficient but not chatty. Friendly wasn't in their lexicon.
If you like black beer, or a decent stout, then this place isn't for you.
Give it a miss, there are better places. Even the staff at The Orchard are friendlier.
I won't be back any time soon.

Could be better. The food's OK. The staff are lovely. No independent beers available. Such a waste of an opportunity to do something special.

Very slow service and very dry beef burger, more dry than Sahara desert.

My colleague got his steak by the time everyone else finished their meal and they had to go back to work so ended up eating alone. Also they got the order wrong and gave chips instead of mash potato.

Definitely wouldn't come back here again lol.

Also the owner says he gave us a free meal replacement? It must have been another customer because we didn't.

The staff at the bar was so rude, and not mindful of customer service.

She was teaching us about grammar when asking about beer. ????????? I felt like she didn't get proper training.

With great food at excellent prices, I couldn't recommend The Chelsea enough for a wonderful night out! The staff are extremely friendly and made sure we were all enjoying our meals and the quality was outstanding.

Come here pretty regularly, nice place to sit outside in good weather with friends and always friendly staff. The food here is totally lacking though, over the years it hasn't ever compared to the orchard or surrounding restaurants. Had the parmi special tonight out of convenience and it had no ham on it, basically was eating pasta sauce with a solid element involved in the mix. If you paid full price for most of the menu you'd wonder what life decision you'd just made... If you had the choice, you'd pick the orchard 8/10 times cause of this reason 🤷🏼‍♀️

Amazing, friendly staff that always remember me when I come in. Unfortunately the quality of the food has been on a steep decline since lockdowns ended. Please reinvigorate the food before it's too late. Come here for the lovely staff: Don't come here to eat.

Friendly (English speaking) staff! Which is rare in the pubs/clubs/bars in Chatswood.
Has a great, warm atmosphere. Good food! I hear a really good trivia night. A well attended VIP gaming lounge. And a fantastic, dog friendly beer garden. A good local or a good place to pop in & check out.

Very happy with the service I received when organising an event at the Chelsea. Daniel was especially helpful, clear and a delight to talk to. We were unable to attend in the end due to the COVID lockdown. But we are so excited to come back when restrictions end. We are here to support the Chelsea during these tough times!

We had an event booked in that we unfortunately had to move twice because of COVID lockdowns, and this venue has been amazing. Big thanks to Dan for being so flexible and understanding at a time that must be so tough for pubs right now... don't worry we'll book in and celebrate extra hard once we're through the other side of this!

One of the worst, overpriced meals and drinks I hae had the pleasure of wasting money on.
My food was so burnt I would have thought they wouldnt have even brought it out, and even after, I would have imagined the staff would have seen that 3/4 of the food was on the plate, all burnt and unedible, yet they couldnt care less.
My wifes food was average at best, and the drinks?! priced higher than most places.
Just a shocker and a total waste of time and money.

We booked for a trivia night on a Wednesday and ordered the $15 schnitzels special for dinner. The food and the staff was good, but the trivia was more serious than than fun. There's no atmosphere here, they didn't have music playing in the back ground either. The quiz guy could mix it up with different questions. We'd come back for the schnitzel specials but not trivia.

Beers = good
Music too loud to talk to neighbors = bad

I ordered the "Superbowl" salad. It was the worst meal I can ever recall paying for. The salad was not at all fresh (surely precut, bagged & past its used by date) and seemed to be little else more than coleslaw with edamame , dressing and some herbs. The dressing was barely there, the salad felt dry in the mouth and one of the herbs was well past being servable (black, wet and soggy). Whilst I ate what I could, I left totally disappointed and annoyed at waiting 30 mins + and wasting $19(!!). I like leaving 5 star reviews (19 to date) however sometimes experiences are so poor they warrant feedback. Switch up your menu because this dish is woeful.

Food was average. Good ambiance. Service was great. Overall a good time for a night with the boys.

Great drink selection upstairs. The beer garden is pretty simple but its a great spot to unwind for after work drinks on a Friday

This is a great place to have drinks and they have fresh food. No loud music and easy to have chat in groups and friendly service.

Friendly staff good offering of drinks and food, felt very safe.

Pub lunch. Had the $15 Tues lunch steak special. Steak, chips, sauce. That's it. Well cooked, as ordered (medium). Service was quick. Lacked atmosphere. Might need to go back for after work drinks maybe.
