We enjoyed visiting the newly renovated club - looks great. We had to ask where Wildwood restaurant was and we were standing right in it. No signs anywhere. We were really looking forward to having pasta but were really shocked to be told the meatball pasta had "run out" at 12.15. So my husband had the crab pasta (as there was very limited pasta choices)which he said he enjoyed but found very little crab meat. We will return but would appreciate more choices. The service was great ??'??

The refurbishment looks great unfortunately the treatment and food was less than ideal.

We attended on Saturday 25 November to celebrate a birthday. When booking we asked for a high chair and a low table. Upon arrival we were seated at a high table for eight adults and three children under the age of 7. When asked if we could move to a low table there was nothing sufficient so we remained at the high table. This meant our 18mnth old was down below the table to have his meal.

Although the man who I was told was "head of service" did try and resolve our seating issue he remained curt and rude throughout our service, at one point snatching the table number from one of our hands and pushy with table clearing.

We were told about the 40-50min wait for food, when the food arrived it was very small servings and not worth the $$ we had paid.

When we went to order dessert the lady at the till was clearly overwhelmed and very eager to move us on, not waiting to hear our order before moving on to make other things. 20minutes in itself just to order ice cream and two cakes.

Finally, unfortunately our 18mnth old fell into one of your tables on his way to the kids area and injured his eye. There was no offers of assistance from staff. Topped off a pretty bad experience.

I doubt we will return to dine at the new look CCLC again.

Wildwood at Central Coast Leagues Club in Gosford offers a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is great, with abundant seating and a family-friendly vibe. The food is not only delicious but also served promptly, adding to the overall positive dining experience. A special shoutout to Pradip, the ma๎tre d', for being exceptionally accommodating, professional, and a stellar host. Highly recommended for those seeking a delightful dining atmosphere, and did I mention the yummy gelato and great coffee!!!

After remodelling, all changed.
Good quality of food, stylish interior, good service and everything I was happy with them.
I think I'll be regulars.

On arrival my membership had lapsed and the cranky woman at the front desk rolled her eyes and sighed, so I decided not to renew it and sign in as a visitor. I have been a member for twenty five years. We followed the arrows to what we assumed was Wildwood restaurant despite it not having a sign. I had booked a table, apparently in the childrens corner in a 'birdcage' where we all managed to fit, though the men didn't have enough room between the round table and the bench seat to put their feet down flat and had to eat on tippy toes. I didnt see nachos on the menu, but saw the manager walk past with some. When I asked where he got the nachos he replied "the kitchen"... not helpful. The meals were average. I paid $3 for 1cm of gravy in a bowl. I dont think I will be back. Maybe the lady at the front counter was hinting when she didnt encourage me to renew my membership.

Went in to just use the toilet - but found the reception courteous, and helpful in conveying that if I came back in the evening the sign in would continue to work. I've been to other RSL type clubs where there's not half as courteous- so if I was passing by I'd certainly use their restaurant- a Chinese one which had a good menu

Currently under renovations so was frustrating to find the entrance. Once inside staff were friendly and service at the Bistro was good, reasonably priced. It should look fantastic when finished.

Worth the membership

The Central Coast Leagues Club is a safe bet for when you are looking for something to do, eat, or have a couple of drinks. This review will focus on the food of Archie's Brasserie, the general attitude and performance of the staff, as well as the cost of the menu.

I ordered the rump 250g main, cooked rare. The chef cooked the steak to my specification; also, it was tender, juicy, and delectable. The flavour was perfect.

The chips were adequate. That might sound substandard, but I can assure you it's arduous to find establishments on the Central Coast that can meet the standard with chips. The potato was fluffy on the inside and lightly crisp on the outside.

The salad was the worst part of the meal. It was second-rate at best. It appeared and tasted like a supermarket store packet salad. The quality of the salad won't affect my review since I am lenient due to it being tertiary to the chips and steak.

The front desk staff are always friendly and accommodating. The smiles of the workers and their nice uniforms help establish how the Central Coast Leagues Club prides itself on keeping a high standard. The staff was friendly, timely, and pleasant to talk with.

The rump 250g main is $26 for members and $31 for non-members. I advise becoming a member if you think you will go to the Central Coast Leagues Club more than once a year, as the savings on the food adds up quickly. It's $4.40 for a year. You'll get an instant return if you order a main at the brasserie since the member savings range between $4-$5.

In conclusion, I recommend regular visits to the Central Coast Leagues Club, Archie's Brasserie specifically. I also recommend becoming a member to get savings on your entrees, mains, and drinks. There's always something good to eat at the Central Coast Leagues Club, so you, your friends, and your family should visit sometime.

Very large establishment with multiple levels of entertainment. Visited to use their snooker tables. An underestimated pool hall. A massive room with about 12 tables. The staff are professional and security are firm but courteous. A well run club and highly trained employees. An enjoyable night. Definitely recommend.

The female cafe staff member that served me at Archie's Brassiere was extremely rude when I commented on my coffee being too strong and she said I only put one shot in. She was most obviously annoyed when I asked if the coffee could be put into a bigger cup and more milk poured in, then said but that cost more money as she snatched it away spilling the coffee over the counter. Have some manners Shan! You were rude when I first walked in to look at the selection of food behind counter and told me to walk around the front the brassiere was closed but then later said to go around and look at sandwich selection. Be nice Shan it's not that hard.

Love this place, beautiful selection of things to do in the one place ,sad to see the buffet go due to covid really hoping it comes back as I wanted to take my mother out for lunch. Overall nice place, two entrances and across from central Coast stadium.

Archie's brassier inside with fast table service was amazed with timing. Food was good but overpriced for non members so I recommended signing up.

Attended a kids birthday here at Monkey Mania one weekend with the kids. The place is spacious and easy to park the car in the adjacent undercover car park. Ate at the restaurant here and got something that was like a surf and turf. For a suburban Leagues Club, I was real impressed with the taste and quality.
