I was exited to check out the place after the new owners brought the place. My expectations were exceeded. Everything about this place was amazing! Highly recommend!

I got the "cutlets" and there was more crumb than meat and considering that's the main dish on their menu it was disappointing.

Bring back the old owners.

i have been coming to the centennial almost once a week since October last year.... i was really excited to try the food and see the new renovation. but was utterly disappointed when i was served my food. i ordered a chicken schnitzel, chips & salad with a creamy garlic prawn topper.

the chicken schnitzel was so small and so thin that majority of it was just crumbing it was also burnt so it was inedible. my topper was served without the creamy sauce which i then had to ask for and the prawns were burnt that badly they tasted like a dirty grill

i'm so disappointed with my first visit back since its reopen won't be coming back

We stopped here to have some lunch. The BLT was amazing! Cannot complain about the serving size, very generous. Great decor, truly felt like a traditional bush pub. Highly recommended ??'?

Amazing country hospitality.
We broke down out side of town my daughter and myself caught a ride with the local ambulance. We found our selves at the centenial wow.. warm atmosphere friendly and like a family welcome . The kitchen stayed open for us and the staff found us a room.
The steak was amazing .. thanks Chef!
The room was amazing value with own showers and very comfortable bedding.

Then next day we had to wait til 4pm to get a bus out of town the management team .. said stay .. keep your room so you have a warm safe place to stay .. offering another night for free.

What a great little pub and worthy of the ride out from Dubbo. The roads are a little 'how ya goin' but that's part of the adventure!

The Centennial Hotel has the best burgers I've had. We walked in and saw two sitting on the counter and said we'll have two of those. The burger was the Cenny works burger, amazing. Good value too, i couldn't finish the chips. The hotel is a good option if you want something less busy than say a Mudgee pub.

I wasn't even the one who stayed there but would never recommend to anyone. 0 star review. Absolutely revolting and unhygienic. Serious health issues in the place. Will be speaking to the hotel directly. I wouldn't leave my dog here.

100% would not recommend, go to any other pub in town!!! Food was terrible! there was blatant drug dealing and use! whilst trying to have dinner with children

A beautiful old pub, with great food and friendly staff. A nice place to meet friends or just meet the locals.

Had a very nice lunch hear. Great beer garden, very rustic outside toilet trough.
Good drinks and friendly service.

The kitchen staff were great.
The two, young, female bar staff were below average. Customer service comes second to watching a football match with the customers.

This pub is well located in the old part of town. It's a period piece so don't expect modern or flash. Very old school but warm ambience and friendly staff. Of course beer is cold. Crowd is jovial but bogan. I stayed the night in the traditional style rooms. Simple and clean with 1940's decor in the ensuite and small room. Unfortunately the heater was not working so maybe avoid mid winter! The electric blanket did the job once in bed. Altogether very satisfactory and the price was great. Again not modern but if modern is your thing go across the road and pay double. If history grabs you ... grab this pub.

Awesome, honest and fun staff. Staying here for work so we eat dinner here every night, the boys have had everything on the menu and every meal has been awesome. The rooms are cleaned daily which is a nice change from what we are used to. The whole team there are exceptional. Big thanks from the Tulla crew

This is a great historic hotel in a beautifully history rich town. I'm not exaggerating when I say this place serves the best southern fried chicken burger I have ever eaten. Give the bistro a try you won't regret it.

We had a really nice meal and a bottle of wine for a reasonable price. Sat outside under a vine covered area, nice atmosphere away from all the noisy Tv's in the bar area.

Very Cooperative Staff, they helped us beyond the expectations. First time experience in Australia, such a lovely staff and so helpful. It's a must place to visit in Gulging. It's a very live place in the middle of silent city.

A very good local pub. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Drinks were amazing. We were informed that there would be an hour wait for our food to be served. However, we had to wait for almost 2 hours for our food to be served which was unacceptable. I thought the long wait would be worth the wait. However the rump steak was quite hard and did not satisfy the taste buds.
