Overnight stay in mid July. Some issues with room with blocked basin plumbing, (blame a previous guest for that but should be checked), a door to the next room being so thin and near to bed you could clearly hear phone notifications and talking from the bed while trying to sleep.
Shower water temperatures are scaldingly hot.

Food at the restaurant is excellent. Near the jetty if like fishing or a quiet walk on a nice night. Rooms good size and comfortable.

Staff are wonderful, their service friendly and prompt. Even provided chilled water for my service dog, which was lovely and greatly appreciated by both of us. There is a hot vegetable and cold salads buffet with every meal, great to tide over hungry kids before the mains. Food was delivered quickly, kids meals first and then the adults. The kid's burger was a big serving, perfect for kids on the verge of moving up to an adult meal. Highly recommend the confit duck with orange sauce; it was absolutely delicious. The kids dessert, frog in a pond (comes with the kid's meal) was above what was expected, with layered colours, fresh cream and sprinkles on top, and of course, a freddo frog. The other desserts were of similar flair; the sticky date pudding and chocolate brownie were served with two puffs of cream and sprinkles, and ice cream flavoured to match. Highly recommend both the Foreshore hotel and Caravan Park, both high quality with friendly service, and within easy walking distance of each other.

Pretty good food can be hit or miss. Sea food platter is definitely my favorite was delicious. Great view of the jetty and sunset the pick of accommodation and dining in ceduna
