Attended a office get together today. Nothing against the RSL, the food quality needs serious improvements. Club in itself is decent facility with plenty of things to do like at other RSL clubs. Kids play area is good. Parking can be a bit busy here specially on weekends with people coming in. If can make arrangements before coming, would be good as around Christmas family and friends join for lunches etc.Overall a decent place.

Very Happy with our visit, great for kids. Play area is safe and lots of fun, food was great and the staff helpful. Everything was reasonably priced and very clean fresh feel all through the club.

Courtyard Restaurant has seriously bad foodNever again will we dine at the Courtyard Restaurant, its food is basically inedible under the current management and ownership. We dont expect fine dining or restaurant quality food at a club bistro but this has to be hands down the worst food we have ever had at a club bistro, and mind you it's called a restaurant. All the meals we ordered last Saturday night were really bad. The meals were served cold and the quality and taste of them was just appalling. As I dont usually place reviews I rang the Courtyard Restaurants business owner as I felt it was important to provide feedback on being disappointed with the quality of food. I don't ever do this lightly but felt compelled in this instance, but it was a complete waste of time. Much to my surprise when I spoke to the business owner he was less than happy about my feedback and said he didnt believe me and hang up on me, so very rude and unprofessional. Clearly he has no interest in customer satisfaction and in providing edible meals. Well I hope he sits down and actually eats some of the meals on his menu, ( in particular a few of the meals we had, The Grilled Seafood Plate just alarmingly bad, The Seafood Basket' uncooked batter, and even The Chicken Parmigiana which is usually a fail-safe choice in any club or pub was dry and tough like cardboard just terrible), and if he thinks they are indeed edible then he must have extremely low standards. We like the club, so its a real shame and to the clubs detriment, if the CHRSL club management and board of directors dont take more interest in the food quality being provided by the Courtyard Restaurant. The courtyard area of the club is nice and it's disappointing to have such poor quality food, a big downfall for the club in my view and needs to fixed as soon as possible to retain memberships. In the meantime members and visitors be warned do yourself a favour dont dine at the Courtyard restaurant.

If you're on holidays don't in Australia don't bother going. I'm a UK resident. My UK drivers license was sufficient for the bouncer at the door but the gentleman at the sign in desk wanted proof of Australian address in the form of a bank statement. Why would someone visiting from overseas have a bank statement with an Australian address?

Great club, good environment unfortunately food quality isn't good (burnt food and food presentation is not good too) but credit to Rina she is the manager at the restaurant she did all she can to keep us satisfied including a refund. She cared and that shows this place has the right motive for improvement.Overall great place for family night out.
