Nice open venue. Huge play area for kids! If you're after a quite dinner do NOT come here, it's noisy!! Food was pretty good and not overpriced. Nice wait staff and quick service :)

I visited here with a friend recently. I thought it had closed down, but was told the garden centre had closed, and not the hotel and Castello's restaurant. I was very pleasantly surprised. Even though it was Valentine's Day, the restaurant was very quiet, but we both had different meals and they were very nice. Service was good also.

Food average. Customer service fantastic. Playground good and it's close to a very well kept toilet that my toilet training 2 yo was willing to use.Lamb shanks reminded me of nursing home food and the calamari was boring to the point the chips were better. My daughter likes the Oreo cheese cake but I found the biscuit base to be soggy and whipped cream to be overkill on something already very sweet.

Castello's in itself is not a bad place BUT! it is not accessible by wheel chairs. There are spaces for disabled parking and a ramp into the place but once you get in you are met by loads of stairs and no way for wheelchair disabled to reach their table. The food was great and it was lucky I had my walking cane with me or I would have been stuffed getting to our table at the lower level. WHEELCHAIR DISABLED GIVE IT A MISS.

Even though the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was not great. My partner got a pizza that seemed frozen rather than fresh and tasted bland. My dish, Hot Bird, was nice but had minimal chicken and the chips weren't great. Big portions though. Drink prices were good. We'd come back for the drinks but not the food unfortunately.
