Dave the courtesy bus driver is a true gentleman 10/10. Live bands usually good would like to see a good DJ or even some comedy type of act...

I love this club and club staff were friendly but would not recommend the Eastern Tiger Restaurant at all. Food was absolutely foul, staff weren't very nice and way over priced for the selection. We were shoved out the back in the function room with the big families with lots of kids. Very disappointing night for my daughters birthday and a terrible dining experience. Will eat at Blueys next time we visit.

Dining experience was good, small bit of feedback: lady at the font made us go through her first and checked in on the machines for us. This is a bit of a waste of time (this meant there was 1 line for three machines) they are self serve machines, and there is a kiosk right next to to them anyway, so if people had trouble they could go there.

For a a non-member you can have all the food your heart and belly desires for $29.95. The service was great, tables cleared regularly so you could get a fresh plate and go back for more, and the variety and quality of food was amazing for the price.
I've now become a member, and I'll certainly be back soon ???'???"???'?

When we arrived, we were initially told we could not get a table. So if you want to eat there you must book in ahead of time as it was full. I asked staff if we could wait for a vacancy and the staff took my mobile number and within 15 mins we received a call as a table was available. Food was amazing and such a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Service was impeccable, and if im in the Cardiff area again, I will definitely return.

Great feed, good old smorgasbord. Even a chocolate fountain.
Staff are friendly and make sure you don't miss out.

I got a very nice coffee & sandwich for quite a reasonable price. I was unaware that I lived within the boundary of the club, but as I was meeting a friend for lunch who was doing a first aid course there, they let me in just for the day. I was very thankful for this exception to the rules.

First time visiting on Sunday and could not be happier. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Very nice RSL heaps of pokies lots of space can't wait to visit again. 10 out of 10 for me.

A large club with all the usual entertainment facilities and a large Chinese restaurant that has daily smorgasbords.
The food overall has a large selection from seafood, hot roast pork, chicken, beef and duck. There is ham, fresh baked bread rolls, a large assortment of meat, poultry and vegetarian dishes, too many to mention.
There are soups and a large selection of desserts, from ice cream, pavlova, cakes and jellies. The chocolate fondue is a hit or if healthy is you, then there is fruit.
If you cannot find something suitable here, then you do not wish to eat.

The place is wheelchair and family friendly and there is a huge carport.

My only criticism is that I purchased 4 small bottles of Coke and I thought $20 was over the top for such a large club...

We eat at Eastern Tiger restaurant often and am impressed with the wide range of quality "all you can eat" they offer. Many options and great service. Highly recommended for all tastes. Wide range of variety endless foods. We regularly visit here.

Loved it great food and service was so good and clean

Newly relocated Blueys Bistro and Smokehouse. Great new eating area, open plan with tv viewing options. Recommend the ribs for sure. Retro burger would fill the hungriest of punters. Generous side of onion rings with housemade bbq sauce.

Good place for all you can eat, live entertainment and the bar has good coffee and cakes. I went to a wedding reception there 3 weeks ago. Had an excellent time. Catering was great.

Great variety with good food. Found the takeaway the best in the area. Last visit I did reject a couple of the fresh prawns as the felt quite limp maybe that is to be expected.

When me and my family entered we realised we needed ID and the lady signing people in didn't try to help at all made us feel stupid for not knowing the rules even though we had never been here or to a place like this. Then when the supervisor did come over to help us she still kept saying that one of us couldn't get in even though the supervisor came up with a way to help which made us feel unwanted in the place. They told my sister that she couldn't wear the top she had on which made her feel incredibly embarrassed and then she had to over heat by wearing a long jacket the entire meal. We understand that they have rules but we didn't feel wanted at all we felt quite uncomfortable and would like them to be a little more accomadating to people who wouldn't know the rules.

The food was pretty alright so aside from that I'd say the place was alright.

Decent meals, good choice of beers on tap and overall a quaint little RSL Club. The all you can eat Chinese buffet (Eastern Tiger restaurant) inside is a nice little addition as well as Bluey's Bistro and Smoke house. These offer an excellent variety for meal options.

A good venue overall. Enough room to stretch out and enjoy a meal or a drink. Playground for the kids is great, but is outside and in the dark, so gets cold and unpleasant at night. Parking can leave you walking quite a distance.

Great food with a big variety of options. Great to see seafood in a buffet setting . The Asian inspired dishes were great. Definitely book before going as they are super busy and popular, and for good reason!

It was our first time visiting this club and we were impressed.
We were greeted by a friendly reception staff member who kindly assisted us in check-in.
We had googled and read great reviews abt the tiger buffet restaurant.
The dining room staff member was as friendly and helpful as the staff at reception. We sat on a booth in the newly renovated restaurant.
The food available is a hot and cold buffet. Sundays seafood. It's all so fresh! A large variety of choices and it's all delicious.
We will gladly return again and we drive abt 45 mins to visit.

Had a nice meal at Blueys Restaurant . Friendly and courteous staff in the restaurant .
Could not say the same about the bar staff though , they were quite arrogant and rude to my partner and elderly Mum . While being served and whilst being seated in the club when asked questions about mask wearing etc .
I would recommend eating at Blueys but go elsewhere for drinks and a chat .

Smokehouse food was better then expected. Had the cheeseburger and added bacon, really fresh and delicious, highly recommend. Service was great and the young lady collecting the plates was lovely and friendly.

Terrible, The food was slop and TASTELESS, the toilets were dirty and unkempt. Went to celebrated a birthday dressed nicely for the occasion but next to us was a table full of people straight from work still with the high Viz on and dirty...not the experience it used to be( Is there a dress code) ..the empty food containers on the buffet were not taken away and were piled up on the side of the buffet . I Actually Emailed the manager the next day..still no reply...Dissapointing to say the least as we have always celebrated our family birthdays there for years.

Large rsl with a range of great food and events. Really enjoyed the karaoke, easy going atmosphere and a heap of parking!!

Attended 2 up for the 5th year runningI found the man in the middle who runs the 2 up rude and looks after certain people onlyI am still waiting to have a go in the middle he told me and my niece we have to wait a while as we were not long enough thereI think 3 hours is long enoughYet new people walked up to him and all 3 of them g it to have a goI think Hamilton North bowling club runs a better 2 up

Chips were really bad. Several people complained on my table and I noticed the waitress collecting plates with chips left. They were dry and tasteless. I might add the tomato sauce was yuk too. Considering you offer it for an entire with chips I'd expect some thought would go into a nice sauce.

This is a great club, and has a fantastic all you can eat restaurant called Eastern Tiger. Highly recommended it for a great feed.

The tiger buffet was excellent. Really clean and the seafood was extremely fresh. Good value for money with an extensive variety of food on offer. Highly recommend.

One of the best all you can eat buffet in the Newcastle area. Their buffet has varieties of foods, especially a good range of seafood. Foods are tasty. Highly recommended for buffet.
