Last Sunday I came to eat here, I was handed the menus with no one informing us that meals were unavailable. After sitting down with my Mum and going over the menu we both decided to have the calamari main meal, and the porterhouse steak. I went to the counter and told the girl my mother's order which she informed me sorry we are out of calamari, so I went and sat back down whilst Mum decided on another meal. When I went back to place my Mums new order, and then mine, I was also told sorry we don't have any porterhouse steak. By this stage I was feeling extremely frustrated that the two meals we wished to purchase were not available, after looking over the menu again I went back and asked that seeing as the porterhouse steak also wasn't available could I get the eye fillet at the price of the porterhouse, im personally not a big fan of eye fillet and didn't want to pay more for a steak i wouldn't enjoy as much, the girl just stared at me like I was talking a different language. I explained myself again, and she said ill have to go ask, then came back and simply said, no I am not able to do that. So I asked for a refund on my other meal, and was told, ok but another lady will have to do that. I walked off sat at the table with no idea who was refunding me. I then spoke to the manager explaining what happened, how both our meals of choice on main menu where not available and how frustrating it was. She just said we had a much bigger day then we expected, and gave the refund and was happy for us to walk away with our money. Working in hospitality I would have went out of my way to find a solution to keep a customer happy, who came to spend money on food they wanted to enjoy. Clearly they don't care about customers coming back again.
