A good vegan meal is hard to get in Tamworth.
But the Calala Inns, Vegan Roast vegetable salad was yummy & big.
And the service was quick, the staff friendly & helpful.
It would have been great if the air con was on,as it was hot...that was the only negative.

Calala in the restaurant has many varied menu choices to choose from. the atmosphere is very good, it has a good bar and a large parking area.

We had a lovely dinner, celebrating birthdays and friendships. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the dining room was a comfortable temperature, tables not too close together and everything was very clean.

Calala Inn has plenty of parking and plenty of room inside to move between tables. We had a party of about 25-30 people and were given more than ample space. Service was great and the staff looked after all of our kids so well I didn't have to lift a finger. Huge servings! Everyone in our group enjoyed their food. Great atmosphere.

Had dinner here on Saturday. The service was amazing. They were able to fit us in even though they had many reservations. The food was also exceptional. We were in Tamworth for just the weekend. Will definitely go back when we are there again. Highly recommend

Well done to Calala Inn last night. The place was packed to the rafters! The queue to order food was longer than the wait to receive our meals and everything was perfect, as always.
That's why this is our favourite place to eat in Tamworth.
The staff work hard - the bosses Dan & Kim must take some of the credit for that - and remain cheerful & efficient under pressure. I recommend making a booking.

Three of us enjoyed dinner last Wednesday night. I had Creamy Garlic Prawns served with Basmati Rice - a bit bland, I would have preferred much more garlic. Hubby had T-Bone 450g with Creamy Garlic Topper - he thoroughly enjoyed his meal and followed it with Waffles in Salted Caramel Sauce - small helping for $12 but he did enjoy it. Our friend had Roast Lamb with Vegetables - a generous serving of lamb and delicious veggies. The Garlic Bread we shared for Entree was yummy. The staff are fantastic - customer service at Calala Tavern is exceptional. The dining area is clean and welcoming. We will definitely be returning for another great meal!

This is an excellent Pub with great food and large portions, which means it's a few days before you are hungry again. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere warm and inviting. It's a good example of a well run business.

A great venue with lovely owners and staff. Cold bevies and good food. We've had everything at Calala Inn from birthday dinners to our mother's wake. A top spot!

Food taste average, big portions, good customer service, and cheap price

We had been told by a few people that the food was good and today we decided to try ourselves. First of all, every staff member was very friendly and helpful. We ordered our meals and they came out quickly. The food was delicious and the serves very big . We couldn't fault anything about our first visit and have decided a second visit is definitely coming up soon. It's so good to know you have a decent place to visit when you wish to eat out. "Best pub food in Tamworth." Everyone I've spoken to says the same thing about the Calala Inn. Their portions are large, so if you clean your plate you may want to wait a few days before writing your review. The staff are amazing. We had a blast and they made our family gathering feel like a party. Great menu, excellent beer selection, and well worth the trip from any part of Tamworth or the New England region.

Meals were huge and had plenty of flavour. Would definately go back for another meal. Well done guys.

Arrived at 5:30 hoping for a quick dinner (were on a roadie) to find a million empty tables with reserved signs. Asked if they could accommodate us and were told no, but there might be room in the front bar (we had two young children obviously present). We left and probably won't bother stopping by again.

Great place for lunch.
4 adults had great meals. Child chicken nuggets were really dry. Other than that it was a great place to visit.
Not troubled by other table noise.
All in all a great experience.

The staff and atmosphere are excellent, without doubt one of the hidden gems of the Tamworth pub scene. If you haven't been here you're missing out. You get more than what you pay for, its excellent value. One of if not the best place for a good feed and drink in the Tamworth region.
