Waited nearly an hour for my $20 chicken burger and chips. They forgot my order, and didnt even offer a discount, complimentary drink or anything of the such. Food was nice enough, but not for that price. Staff were friendly. Would be hesitant to recommend based on my first time visit.

Had the chicken snitty and first time in a long had a real piece of breastfeeding and not some heart shaped frisbee from coles or woolies. Chips were crunchy and salad fresh . Will be coming back again.

What a top little place.
The staff were amazing especially the young girl with dark hair...needs a huge pat on her back...yes she was at work but she looked and worked like she wanted to be there.

Awesome staff,extremely kid friendly. You can actually relax because the kids can come and go as they please to and from the kids corner. Great atmosphere, and staff are awesome and food prices are good for the food that you get.

Had a meal last night as a stop over.
The food was awesome and the portions were huge.The young girl behind the bar and restaurant was 100% on the ball.She is a massive asset to your business.She made sure we were accomadated with everything we needed.

Our drive over Mount Glorious brought us to Fernvale by lunchtime. We gave the small tavern a go but without any great expectations. We were extremely pleased to receive excellent bistro food as well as friendly service.
The lone chef did a great job to get out meals to hungry patrons in a short time.
We started with toasted bread and three delicious dips before the mains arrived.
My rump steak was tasty, my wife's lasagne excellent, and two chicken parmigiana were enjoyed by our companions. Two of our party also managed to fit in slices of flavoursome baked cheese cake.
If you want an unpretentious but tasty meal then visit the Brisbane Valley Tavern in Fernvale.

Greeted as we walked in, then had great pub meals and terrific service by bar and wait staff. Trio of dips were 5 star quality. A welcome surprise.

I saw a post on there Facebook page showing a decent plate of ribs, thought I'd travel out and give them ago.

One picture is what I received for a $49 full rack of ribs. And the other picture is what was posted on there Facebook page.

Pretty bad attempt at ribs esp when boiled and have sauce poured ontop.

Chicken burger was also meh. The true comment was "well it doesn't taste bad"

Had a fantastic lunch today with a friend and we were both very impressed with the meals. The chef even accommodated my allergy to capsicum and adjust the dish for me. It was fantastic. 10 out of 10 for friendly staff, brilliant service and excellent food.

Only ordered the cheese and bacon garlic bread but it was good. Good friendly service that let a group of us book last minute. Only issue I have is the entrance is on a main road so hard to get in and out of

Here is photos of your cocktails pity your staff don't know how to mix them. I asked for one after looking in a book and not been able to find out how to mix it she then asked another staff member who didn't know so then she went to ask another person. Finally I said don't worry and left. I think she was relieved.

What a joke! One staff member says you can bring your dog into the smokers area and have lunch - after we had ordered another staff member then comes out and says you can only eat hot chips outside! Get some consistency and a decent menu! Thanks for being so unaccommodating Xx

Kitchen staff where very rude on bloke got passed of at me cause I ask for my money back as I waited 30mins for my food when I was told 20mins so I went an asked the woman an she said a other 20mins I was not going to wait 40mins for a meal.
Don't go here unless Ur wanting to wait 40mins to an hour for Ur meal.

Super friendly pub. What it lacks in ambiance is more than made up for with its food. We shared an entree size calamari and bowl of chips for lunch. More than enough for two. The calamari was very tender with a lovely crispy batter and the chips were amazing. Highly recommended!

My first visit was disappointing. I ordered Mediterranean Pasta, it was dry and bland. There was no sauce and very few vegetables, which I found strange as it was the only vegetarian option.

We visit for lunch after a fishing session at Wivenhoe Dam. Our 500g Rump Steaks ($36) look huge! The Steaks are high quality and cooked to perfection. An exceptional Steak lunch.
Returned this week with my fishing mate. We ordered our Sirloin Steaks medium-rare and the meal was perfect. Thanks to the friendly staff!

We were wonderfully greeted and given comfy seats, cold water and beyond amazing meals after stumbling in after our morning trek on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Really friendly and lovely staff, best service we've experienced in a long time, and the meals were phenomenal. Steak cooked to absolute perfection. We will definitely be back. Great food, very friendly staff, good variety on the menu which is what attracted me to go here. Looks nothing like I expected a pub to look like on the outside but as they say, don't judge a book... or you will be sorely disappointed if you miss out going to this place. The novelty of drawing on the paper tablecloth can be fun for adults as much as kids. Also provides an avenue for feedback to staff if you don't get the chance to tell them in person. Will definitely be back.

I met a fellow who works in Fernvale and he invited me to join with a group of friends for dinner at the tavern on a Friday night. I did and we manage to meet there as a group every Friday night... the food is great and top value too... the staff are super friendly... the atmosphere is happy... the drinks are good and so is the value for money. As a group, we are very well looked after and we look forward to getting together every week. Cheers to Brisbane Valley Tavern!

Meal was pretty good, even though waited over 40 mins for them to come out despite not being overly busy. Staff were really nice, but was a bit turned off when we seen a staff members teenage daughter walk past the salad bar and casually grab some lettuce leaves with her fingers...needless to say we avoided the salad bar.

To walk into a Tavern and always get greeted by the Publican and then to eat a fantastic meal that is very quick to our table is a place we will always come back to, highly recommended!
