Monday to Thursday $16 steak! $4 bucks to swap out veggies so $20, seems to be a strange thing to charge for the swap north of the Victorian border.

Table was booked a few weeks ago for 6 +2 high chairs outside. Mum rang to check booking this morning. Was told booking had been moved inside. With two 21mth toddlers we didn\'t want them getting under foot.
The inside table was then a table for only 6. With a bit of persuasion they found us a larger table. Unnecessary mucking around.
Sirloin steak ordered med rare, closer to rare, thankfully I\'m ok with that. The other sirloin was ordered medium and was closer to well done sadly.
Food was presented well.

$16 pub classsic meals is a plus. Atmosphere is really nice, views of the lake and service was great. Will be back again

This tavern definitely has a few things going for it; the views are absolutely beautiful and really make the visit worthwhile, especially on a nice day. They also have an awesome games room/children's area, which is such a great touch for families, plus the convenience of underground parking is a big bonus.

Food-wise, it was a bit hit and miss. My chicken dish was unfortunately quite bland and a little dry, and the chips could have used more seasoning. My partner didn't mind his steak though, so it wasn't all bad.

Service was okay - our waitress seemed a little awkward, but still polite. Overall, a fairly average experience with some great features, particularly the views and family-friendly setup. Oh almost forgot to mention, they have $15 pub meals! Not bad price for this day.

Great location by the water (overlooking a beautiful lake).
Cracking food - pub does a variety of meals most days (Monday-Thursday) for $15.
