Great experience ! We had a table set up for us within minutes and great food for a group of 12.

Brighton-Le-Sands has a number of fantastic places to eat. Unfortunately tonight we chose the RSL to have a meal. The weekly dinner I enjoy with my family was a disaster. Mum had a grilled chicken that was served dry with potato that was indescribable and a coleslaw that was inedible. My son and I both ate a stir fry from the specials board and to say it was a packet mix from the supermarket would be a disservice to Coles & Woolies. The garlic bread was just edible but probably because we were hungry. The garlic cheese bread was a 100% no go.

Never again!

We dropped in to watch the Matildas game and also had dinner at Mike's bistro. The food was good and portions generous, it's worth ordering meals to share.
There are multiple spaces for chilling and watching the sports playing on the screens.
Upstairs is the gaming area. There is limited street parking and a free parking structure behind the RSL.

Good atmosphere with everyone cheering on the game.

Fantastic large barramundi fillet made by The Chef Rob, just for $28 with salad and mash. Great value for money, delicious meals.

It's definitley worth visiting the bistro. The food is well priced and the plates coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. We ordered from the specials board. . The 1kg mussels and the grilled plate...5 stars. Have recommended to many people since then. The atmosphere of the club was good and the staff all very welcoming.

Our go to Hotel Accommodation in Sydney. Convenient location. Hotel is being refurbished at present, staff are friendly and price is great for Sydney accommodation.

The service and food at the function I attended was very good. The staff were warm and friendly and the food delicious.

What a great rsl club. Great venue. Wonderful food at reasonable prices. Good member deals and a great atmosphere. Nice and cool on a hot day at the bay.

This is a great RSL club,we were staying in Sydney and had dinner here,the portion size was huge and was very tasty with cheap drinks too,the staff were friendly and a lady in the bistro remembered us from years ago and was very welcoming

Usually when it comes to restaurant's meals it's about finding a good balance between portion size and flavours. Quality vs. quantity. This place has the absolute best value for money. The meals are very reasonably priced, are of a high standard, and their portion sizes are massive. What's not to like?
My seafood platter came with a ton of deep-fried seafood, loads of chips and a salad. It was a meal that I could have shared with a friend and still had been satisfied by the end.
The staff are nice. The service was quick. This place is a real gem and I hope to return one day soon.

Great menu choices. Hubby had the creamy garlic prawns with rice which was delicious. I had the rump steak with roast potatoes and coleslaw. Very nice except for the potatoes which were left behind. Tasted like reheated leftovers from yesterday. Service good. Friendly staff.

My recommendation is get the bruschetta as it is perfect, but stay clear of the surf and turf, they possibly cooked one of my work boots and called it a steak not rare nor medium but well and truly well done and not to mention the store bought stone cold bernaise sauce.

What a disappointment for a really cosy RSL

Quality food at a reasonable price and nice big serves won't leave hungry or broke or disappointed!!

I would like to write about my experience with Mike's Grill & Bar! I had dinner there on Sunday evening the 25th of Aprll 2021. The food was great and so was the service! Shout out to the young lady Emelia who was working on Sunday evening, she was such a delight. Her customer service was exceptional and so was her personality and service! Shout out to Mike's Grill never disappoints. Brighton RSL has always been a great place to pop into for a beer on my sunny walks also. Well done guys!!!

Great RSL in Brighton Le Sands, Sydney, AUS.Close to beach, the sand is some of the whitest I've ever seen. Lots of other shops. Nice and local.

Love this RSL Club. Ive been apart of many RSL club but. But this one may take the cake. Great service, great location, Mikes grill is by far the best restaurant on the Brighton strip and i have tried them all. Highly recommend this club and the food is amazing. Dont miss out.

We had the specials so I dont know if that will help you decide, but they were fantastic. My wife had the whole baby snapper with chips and Greek salad and I had the Balmain Bugs in Green curry with rice. The flavours were just right. Some sort of lemon/pepper coating with some other herbs on the snapper made the texture of the crispy skin and the soft succulent flesh of the meat just perfect together. The Green curry wasnt overpowering the delicate bug meat either - it was altogether just delicious. We also had a dozen Sydney rock oysters to start and the whole meal came to a little under $100 for two. Great value for a lunchtime seafood feast and well be back for sure!

Fun club with cheap drinks and plenty of atmosphere. Patrons appear happy enjoying interaction. Good menus
