We booked for a one night stay a few weeks ago. The room was comfortable enough but fairly tired. Service on checkin was non-communicative and fairly unhelpful unfortunately. Food was good but we were kept awake until well after midnight by people talking outside - they were wearing what looked like staff shirts. In any case we had to go and ask them to go inside. So not restful. What you would expect I guess from a 3 star hotel but we wouldn't stay there again.

Came here last night for the round up country club night, i'm newly 18 and was super excited for this experience. I've had dinner with my family at this restaurant and loved it. So I was super excited to experience this venue at 18.
At first i was served at the bar by a guy who i believe was named Kai.
He was so friendly and welcoming, even helped us out by recommending drinks. (we are new to this) We all absolutely loved his customer service and his kindness got us all super keen for the night ahead.
Later when we came back to the bar we were served by a girl who seemed to be the one in charge behind the bar. Although she was extremely rude, she just stood there straight faced staring at me and overall just made me feel super uncomfortable and feel really unwelcome. I understand when in supervisor roles, like she looked to be in, you have to be a little more serious/professional. But that does not mean you have to be rude, her service just felt like judgy high-school attitude and her judgment put us all off wanting to go back to the bar.
If not for Kai's service we probably would have left right after she served us.
We are all newly 18 at some point, that did not make me "less than" any of the other customers. Its really not that hard to be nice.

My family love this venue as it holds many memories from my graduation in 1991, my 1st wedding reception in 1996, my sons wedding reception in 2022 and most recently my 2nd wife's 40th Birthday celebrations along with many many wonderful dinners.

The staff are always very welcoming and take pride in their work. Great food, great location, great staff!

Had the Chicken Snitzel, chips and salad. Place was busy so surprised my chips were cold. $9 schooners after eftpos fee. is getting up there. Staff were good and still had a good day

First timer at the RSL for family bingo today, I cannot recommend the club enough. So accommodating, couldn't get a table but a lovely lady gave us her table as her husband had found another, the beautiful man who works there bought over complimentary water wow! Service fantastic and the food and free bingo was a massive hit! Thanks for a terrific outing on a budget!
