Loved this place.

Drinks are very affordable and they have a small Chinese restaurant in there operating lunch and dinner.

We were there for a function and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Air conditioning was super cold which is what you want when it's 37 outside.

Plenty of drinks to be had along with a pool table, gaming machines and more

Service was great, wine was cheap $6 for a piccolo.
Food was ok, not as good as last time but still ok..
We will still come back :)

4 grey nomads out for dinner. We ordered 4 meals between us to share plus fried rice and plain rice and it was all great! We'll done!

Waitress was prompt coming to our table. She was courteous and was able to answer our questions about the menu.
Our meal was delicious and we would come again. We had combination satay,BBQ king prawns and a small special fried rice.
Self sign in at entrance and Chinese restaurant is upstairs. They do take away also.

Had some good Chinese, Semi-Aussie dishes. Tap Beers as well. Bourke is a small community town, this pub is doing well considering that.

The employees showed us incredible kindness to change our meals halfway through to enable us to take away the remaining portion and catch an extraordinary sunset. The food was great but it was the thoughtfulness of the staff and their willingness to accommodate us that was the standout. We're all very grateful!

So I didn't have high expectations of getting a good feed however the Chinese restaurant in the local bowling club blew me away. We ordered the classics Sweet and Sour Pork and Lemon Chicken. Amazing take on both dishes from a very clever mind removing the usual thick batter and replacing it with a light and crispy one that changed the dishes entirely. Also you cannot argue with the price for more than a decent feed.

We visited on a Sunday night and nothing else was open. It was a good option even so. Chinese food excellent but some might find the satay too spicy. Inexpensive and enjoyable.

In regards to gluten free. They really only have 2 dishes that are gluten free. Prawn salad was very average, half a plate of shrimps with no lemon or anything, tasted very watery. The vegetarian omelet was full of onion, tasted ok but would have been greatly improved with oyster sauce, which they could have easily supplied gluten free. They could have gluten free soy sauce which is also readily available for their rice. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.

Entered the restaurant at 5.45 pm. Waited one hour with no meal. Looked around the restaurant about 50 _ 70 people seated with not one person with a meal. It appears that take away get poritity. Approach the front desk and advise that managers don't care and its been a problem for a long time. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

The bar and staff are great. The new restaurant had only been open 2 nights when I had dinner there. The menu was very limited but they cover some of the main pub style meals. I had the scotch fillet which was $40 and it could have been much better. I asked for medium and mine came out almost well-done. My friend did enjoy his pork cutlets though and they do have a lot of sides.

Went for a Chinese meal. I must say was not too bad. Dim sims were not the best not alot of taste. The combination in plum sauce was amazing but the chicken and cashew was the opposite. Not nice at all. Cheap drinks made the night.

Nice Chinese food at the Bourke Bowling Club. Good value and very friendly staff.
We even got the courtesy bus from the Kidman Camp and back!

We actually went to the Chinese Restaurant that is located inside the Bowls Club - I Know, how strange!Meal was fantastic, service was great and the waiter was quite a character.First time I've seen a waiter actually running between the tables, carry three plates to three different tables and serving drinks. And I never was him get it wrong once. Wold love to back to Bourke just to get Chinese again

We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant above it. The meal was OK. It was interesting to see the difference in work ethic between the oriental guy who ran around trying to do everything and the aussie lady who sat behind the bar and did very little, occasionally getting up to collect dishes as slowly as she could.

Terry's Chinese Restaurant is great!The food is very tasty and Terry is a wonderfully happy host.
