Decent place to stay for the night. Rooms are kept clean, presentable and to a good standard. Staff were friendly and helpful upon check in.

Wifi was limited to 1GB per person which considering this day and age and the price of the room really is not great.

Visited the bar for a drink, ordered a beer and a CC dry which came to $28 and then had a service charge for the card put on top. Understand that this place is in a remote location but the price for food and drink here was horrendous. Highly recommend stocking up before coming here.

Booked here as we needed a stopover on our journey across the Nullarbor! Our accommodation was plain and simple but clean and comfortable. The food at the roadhouse was very tasty and all the staff very friendly....our only problem was not being able to get the heating to work in the morning....it was very cold being the tail end of winter! But apart from that it suited our needs for the night and after a decent sleep we had a good breakfast and resumed our road trip!

Great location to service the needs of customers requiring premium petrol, a little pricy at $2.99 but its very convenient as its the only petrol station for miles.

the shop has lots of nice little gifts and gadgets for tourists.

The showers were clean and reasonable for the costs of a couple dollars, how ever they do need more servicing and upgrading

The burger was one of the best that we had ever had.

The towels in the cabins were large and fluffy. Such a small thing makes a big difference when you're traveling from the West Coast to the East Coast. Thanks for the great hospitality Adrian.

We tried a motel room this time, and were quite pleased. The step to our verandah was missing, but the maintenance man knocked up a temporary one in quick time - a very good job he did too. We enjoyed our stay, and the meals and cool refreshments.

Large sites for caravans. Showers and toilets are clean. Shower is very good and costs $2 for 10 minutes. Fuel price is very high, so better fill up your tank before coming here.

A welcome stopover after the Balladonia Hotel Motel. The staff were friendly and accommodated us with a pet friendly room, which was comfortable, clean, warm and safe. The food at the restaurant was fantastic, with generous portions and everything tasted fresh. We appreciated the free wi-fi too!

Much needed stop. Great place and service. Nice gift and necessities shop. Food was great. I got a specially made gf roll. Fuel very expensive at $2.98 p/L. Gravel towards rooms.

The rooms are small but clean and the bed was comfy, so at $140 it was good value. The petrol was expensive compared to city prices but at about $2.80/litre in early April 2024 it was about 10c better than the other roadhouses I filled up at. I paid $31 for a burger and chips which was fine, and is also pretty good value considering your closest alternatives are about 200km away.

Right on the border crossing of WA and SA on the SA side lies the Roadhouse. Great place to stop for a night or 2 to check out some of the Cliffs and to recharge the batteries after a couple of long days on the road. They have a few powered sites on level road base, but NO water is available for the caravans, so you have to carry your own. They do have amenities with great hot showers for a cost of $2.00, which lasts about 10 minutes. They also have a laundry at $4.00 per load, a dump point, and the cost for the night was $27.00, which we thought was very reasonable. The place is very quiet and is also pet 🐕 friendly.

You can buy some basic foods, souvenirs and fuel. They also have a restaurant with tasty meals reasonably priced and a bar.

Border Village Roadhouse served its purpose as a pit stop on my recent journey. While not memorable, it offered essential amenities like restrooms and basic food options. Ideal for a quick break during long drives. Accommodation available, however, we did not stay.

A little oasis after a long day driving. The accommodation is neat, quiet and comfortable. Service station is large enough to minimise queues, and the restaurant was really good; friendly and efficient staff with well prepared offerings.

Rooms small exceptionally clean all we needed for an overnight stay. Meals very generous and good value. Staff delightful

The room we stayed in was small, new and clean. It had an odd smell so bring a candle. The shower was excellent. The air-conditioner was noisy. The staff don't smile and are not friendly. Everywhere there are signs justifying their high prices. Which is fine but it isn't very welcoming. The meal I had, pasta, was very good. Be warned: while there is wifi you only have access for a very short time. Mine disconnected three times and all I was doing was Instagram. They say the password is valid for one day but that is incorrect. When you get up in the morning you can no longer connect. I was told twice that it was because printing the tiny (1 inch by 1 inch) pieces of paper that the password is printed on is "very expensive"... There's Telstra coverage but no Optus. The shop is large and well stocked.

Great stop for lunch. Delicious steak sandwich and we'll priced.

This is right on the SA/WA border and quarantine gates. We are travelling in our caravan, and we stopped here on a powered site on the way to WA and back through to SA. Great stopover. Good food, and there is a bar to buy a drink and relax.

Loved it. Great spot to rest and revive. Not much else there, but you make your own fun as we did, and the Roadhouse! Best staff. Had heaps of fun. Met interesting people. Got real!!!! 🍻😁

Was a great stop over for lunch and a break from driving. The staff there are friendly and welcoming. The facilities were clean, and lunch was fresh and tasty, and the price we paid was more than reasonable. To all those who work out there, it can't be easy to be so remote, but you do a fantastic job and thank you.

Pleasantly surprised with the amenities & was really great that our pup could stay inside the cabin with us. Comfortable bed. Meals were huge!

SA or WA time very funny
The only place to stay. Swimming pool, bar good solid meals lots to watch and see. So it's more expensive than other places....do you actually understand where you are..
The staff were excellent helpfull and funny. I think they do a superb job, before you get back in the saddle. Stop there it's great ??'?

it's such a nice place, the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. the price of the room is not expensive (comfortable double bed, shower, small biscuit, swimming pool) we feel good! and it's cheaper than some backpack in melbourne. and it's much more comfortable. very good hotel. we broke our vehicle on the road, they helped us find a tow and supported us mentally. we were so sad about the car, but thanks to these people we felt at home. don't hesitate to stop for a break, or spend the night. the food is very good ! and there is a free pool table at the bar (and yes, sir, there is a bar!)

Very disappointing paid for a so called executive room it was a 3.5 x 2.5 no chair or table not the cleanest of places. Spiders in room corners. Managers need to either check or supervise cleaners and perhaps visit and check rooms every so often. Fridge low down under shelf. Paid $160 for a box room with a TV with 3 channels. I was warned but ignored it at my own cost. Don't stop here keep going to next place. Live and learn. $13.50 for 2 coffees. Came through here 4 years ago and it's gone down hill .

Little rooms at the back of the fuel station but is well renovated and modern. Has everything we needed for a comfortable stay overnight as we cross the border. If you can't make it to Eucla or is booked out, definitely give this place a go. Dinner and good is also great pricing and quality too.

Our room was comfortable with new fittings. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly when I had a nasty fall onto my face. They could not have helped me more, being caring and efficient for over an hour until the ambulance arrived. I will always be grateful for their assistance and concern.

No water so couldn't book a room, have a shower or do washing. Staff are mostly great and coffee is good. Pies etc are bought in not home made. Ordered dinner from the bar and it was huge, lots of meat and veges and tasted amazing. Wasn't expensive $32.00 I think.

Granted the rooms are small but a chair and side table would be a nice touch. I also understand you have to be resourceful with water and run the park on generator's, again perhaps a small lamp for those people who like to read. The self above the bed could easily hold one. Other than my suggestions, I have no complaints. Thank you for your hospitality.

Good place to stop on a long journey across the Nullarbor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room clean with basic amenities. They also have pet friendly rooms which was great for us. Lots of room to roam around the property if travelling with pets.

My hubby stayed with our dog waiting to cross into WA after boarder closes due to covid.. he had a fantastic comfortable stay and was made to feel extremely welcome, as was Jess our dog. Clean comfy bed and room. Would highly recommend

For a place so busy definitely needs huge updating.All costs would surely come back. Manager of bar/ restaurant also needs smarten up on how to speak to people and inform them on what is happening. To say bar is closed due to issues with poker machines and 2 hours later tell guests that it is their drinking in restaurant area that is stopping the bar opening is nothing short of rude. Our room was good and clean.

I stayed there waiting for the border to open on the 5th February can't recommend it highly enough the rooms aren't 5 star but very comfortable and allow pets. Wow the food is great and plenty of it. Complements to the chef that made one of the best steak sandwiches I've ever eaten I complement the staff and management enough did everything in their power to make sure you were happy and comfortable definitely 10 out of 10 cheers

We've stayed here for 2 nights trying to cross during Christmas Covid times. This place is definitely worth the stop. Great reception, the rooms were tidy, but the food.. was simply amazing! Great size portions. Had the Pork Belly Christmas special and it was great! Thank you to the Roadhouse team.

They make the best salad sandwiches I have ever tasted. I have no idea why but they taste incredible! I always make it a stop before I go through to WA or on my way back, and I always have 2. Compliments to the chef!

We stayed here for about a week the showers and toilet blocks were clean, we booked a room for a night and was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room, meals were lovely and the managers there are absolutely lovely and were extremely helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent 24 hour roadhouse with caravan and camping facilities also has a motel. Fantastic staff who are very helpful and very friendly! Great powered camping facilities with showers which are always kept nice and clean, cleaned every day. Roadhouse has great food service and a bar with a dinner menu that changes each night. Has an all day breakfast menu and lunch menu with a great chicken burger! Highly recommended

We stayed in a cabin, which was spacious and quite newly-refurbished. There's was a slight hitch with check-in and they went above and beyond to make up for it. Very friendly staff, and a hearty meal to top it off!

Room 10 - freshly painted, good decor and good size. New bathroom and good hot shower. No obvious road noise which helps.

Perfect overnight stop. Food is great tho very very generous serves. Definitely the place to stop when travelling the Nullarbor.

I rated this accommodation as a 5 simply because it surpassed the expectations we had after reading some of the reviews. Whilst small, it was comfortable and more importantly clean and quiet.
