I ordered a Caesar salad and paid extra for anchovies... it was like a 12 year old made it, it came with 2 bits of toasted Turkish bread (not croutons) and I got no anchovies. It wasn't that busy that they couldn't make a salad properly.
My partners steak sandwich was good though.

My only complaint was I ordered the Leek & Potato soup, thinking it was the vegetarian option, only to have it full of bacon.
The lovely lady took it back, and offered me a plate full of veggies instead. I ended up with a range of beautiful veggies- even better, I think, than my friend had with her roast of the day. Funny situation in that I was initially asking for the roast without the meat, so that I would only have the veggies, before spotting the soup.
Great outcome and the staff were outstanding in all areas of the hotel.

We went for lunch there today and the service at the bistro was horrible,the food waited nearly 50 minutes for and it was not busy at all,the barramundi still had scales on it and my steak was more like the size of a rissole.The young lady behind the bar was the best thing in there.would not be going back there again that's for sure

I had lunch here after a drive on the beach. I ordered the pork ribs, I was advised on ordering that a knife will not be needed, which confused me a bit. The full serve of ribs arrived with slaw and veges. I know why I didn't need a knife, the pork was so tender a fork was only needed.The whole meal tasted great the sauce and the slaw was top notch. Service was great and staff had a great sense of humor. Will be back to order the same meal.

I loved it all. I ordered the chef special with the zucchini flowers however they said they were out. I did pick the upsized calamari, and it did not disappoint. Loved the Shiraz too. The kids burger had also a great appearance and the kid loved it. Looking forward to the next time.

The chef special on the 25th of April a beautifully cooked barramundi... food was wonderful. It could be better signage for guests turning up for booking but once we found a staff member got a table in the bistro.

We went for a drink and they forced us to order food. but they told us once we had the drinks on the table. without option for refund. It was supposedly illegal just to drink. So we ordered food and it arrived when we had finished our drinks. Anyway, we ended up drinking without eating and we ate without wanting to buy anything. The food arrived late and the meat was soggy. Better look for another better place, unpleasant treatment by the manager.

Came here just for a drink and a small bite, got told the manager wanted us to leave as we only ordered drinks and starters and no mains (after we had already ordered and paid for our food) we then proceeded to wait over 20 mins for a drink to come out. After our food came out we were told to leave as soon as we finish our meals. Ordered an iced caramel and got a "iced mocha" which turned out to be just and iced chocolate. Will not be coming back again.

Food service is the slowest I've had to experience. Took an hour to get garlic bread. The rest of our food took longer to get to out to our table on a non-busy weekend. I understand that this is peak period for a venue like this but all the more reason to make an effort for weekends. The food was serviceable at best. Our "medium rare" came out still bleeding. The only upside was a member of the bar staff that engaged in a non-negative manner. Cutlery was being set on tables around us while there were still dirty plates and glasses on our table

I had the beef burger - the beef patty was rather disappointing but the rest was great. (Would not order that again) Other meals were good but basic pub cuisine. Service was really good although it was a quiet day. Great spot just across the road from the beach and good parking.

We had a birthday party here on Saturday and were amazed by not only the food but the service. All staff were very accommodating. Food was very fresh and came out super quick. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Popped in for lunch while up with my family last weekend. I had the steak, it perfectly cooked & came with ample sides. The kids demolished their ever faithful chips & nuggets. The staff seemed to have a great rapport & genuinely enjoy working together despite appearing to be under the pump & slightly short staffed. Kat & Jess in the bistro were smiling & helpful & it was lovely to just sit in the beer garden & have a drink while the kids played.

Obviously an older pub but I tell you what, the experience was second to none. Bec - our server - was friendly and courteous in a way that we do not see often enough. The food was above expectations even though we order the same things we always do at any pub. Pie for me and pork belly for her and we were blown away. We will definitely be back again and whomever is responsible for the slight touches to the basic stuff we get every time deserves at the very least a pat on the back if not a straight up raise. Thank you for an experience we will remember for a red hot minute.

Absolutely disappointed.
We visited last year and I can remember the food being terrible.
We returned this year hoping for a different experience.
The waitress was lovely and friendly, supported me to use the app to order food. However, The bar staff was sour and rude.
My drink was delivered in a dirty glass with brown stains on the inside of the glass. When asked for a replacement she was rude about it.
We ordered bruschetta and received hard burnt bread which could have broken my teeth. We also ordered the most expensive steaks on the menu, as soon as I started eating mine I could tell it was frozen and thawed. No fat on our steaks. My partner made me try his, I couldn't eat it at all. It was most terrible steak I ever tried in my life. It tasted like it had been fully cooked in the microwave then grilled for grill marks. I can't believe they charge $45 for frozen steaks.
I will never be coming back.

Great vibe, traditional style pup. The food was absolutely spectacular, compliments to the chef- KEN! The food and service has really picked up since the new chef had come on board. We had a table of 20 people and ALL the food came out at once, was hot and tasted beautiful. There were no complaints from us at all!
The service from the wait staff and bar staff was great as well.
We will definitely be back whenever we come to the area.

Decided to stop in at Blueys after work Friday. Had the BEST drinks made by Liz and new chef Ken did an amazing job on our food. Rump and Ribs to die for ans cooked perfectly .🤩. Friendly staff. Good food. What else could you need? ???-

Very average pub food. Not any taste to the starters, steak was tough and overcooked and chips very salty. They were out of quite a few things in the menu. Staff were nice but don't really know how to make cocktails

As new permanent residents to Bribie decided to go here for dinner, the reports of nice food were very overrated. Odered fish and chips come with fish covered in burnt crumbs warm soggy salad and about a 8 chips.
Not planning on going back soon.

Exceptional service. The team accommodated us late, made sure the kids were fed quickly and with Maricel as our waitress everything ran smoothly. Meals were awesome and beers were cold! Definitely coming back!

Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere, impeccable service! Liz was very accommodating and checked in to see how our meals were. Liquid ecstasy cocktail was delicious. Highly recommend.

Had dinner with visiting relatives on Friday night and it was the best pub meal I had eaten in ages. Steak was perfectly cooked and the King Avocado schnitzels were awesome. Then headed into the comedy show and was seriously entertained. Great night.

First the good: Great entertainment and staff. Love the beer garden with live music on Sunday.

The bad: We purchased a serve of wedges with sour cream for $13 to have with our drinks.The most expensive wedges I've paid for in a long time, but assumed they would be a good serving. My mistake 😬. When the bowl came out, we all just looked at it and I asked the staff member, that's all you get for $13, and she replied yes. We were all shocked. I understand everything is going up in price, but we won't be ordering food from now on if the servings are getting that small.

Got coffee there and I walked away happy. The iced mocha Liz made was absolutely awesome. Made from scratch and as per my request. Five stars for Liz. Food was also awesome had some chips and gravy and was great.

Great pub, next to the beach & a wonderful bistro. So after a swim at Woorim Beach, a short stroll across the road & a cold beer awaits.

Very nice venue however staff were short and abrupt. We dined in for dinner thinking the meals would be enjoyable. The steak meant to be medium rare was cooked well done. After waiting a good 20 minutes after speaking to a staff member we were finally offered a "sweet". 2 of the oysters were off leaving a rotten and disgusting sensation. The side of vegetables was bland and flavourless. Aside from this we had a farely average night.

Had a lovely lunch with my wife and my brother. Also had a good chat with the venue manager. What a lovely bloke.
Will definitely be back for a frosty beer and convivial chat with the boss-man.

Quick night away on Bribie island with my love and have spent the entire day indulging in the most scrumptious food and beverages at the Blue Pacific Hotel. The beach here is spectacular! Had an amazing seafood plate to share for lunch, then dinner I had the delicious Camembert stuffed chicken breast which was stunning tender and juicy. My partners steak was cooked to perfection. This place is truly amazing! Highly recommend. Staff are attentive and very friendly. What a lovely place to enjoy the day. Excellent atmosphere. Can't wait to come back. X 10/10 from us! 😁

Love coming to this pub. Best beer garden around along with live music every Sunday. A friendly local crowd.

I love to come here weekly with my family. The food is delicious, the staff are wonderful, and the music on Sundays gives a great vibe. There is a lot of entertainment here, I could stay for hours.

We came on the weekend for the first time in a while, it was nice and quiet so tables were easy to get outside, though many of the tables did not have umbrellas for shade up. Not all of our order was brought out, a side was missing which we never ended up receiving. We ordered drinks including a kids soft drink when we got there, though it would have been nice if the bar staff had enough informed us that when we order a kids meal we will get a kids soft drink included. Felt ripped off there as we were in fact ordering a kids meal.

Went with a group for coffee & cake. The coffee was just right & the cake was yum. Liz who made our coffee was lovely & friendly & made the best coffee ever. A great price too! We will be back.

Visited on a Friday night so relatively busy but meals were served within good time and were delicious and brought out by very friendly staff.
Normal pub menu and prices. Good place to visit.

The Blue Pacific Hotel is in a great location! The stuff were very helpful and friendly and it's an overall relaxed environment! It's kid friendly & caters to parents offering a kids room the meals were great also! Highly recommended for all of the above!

The night my party was here they were extremely busy & yet they were still able to get our meals to us in really good time.
Good food and lots of it at a reasonable price all with great service!.

Large premises, and good if you're a gambler. Not much else happening here. Again to many young people serving that need to be taught how to smile. I spend my money and would like to be treated like a person not a problem. My money helps pay their wages. Older staff love to work, not treat you like a nuisance.

This is a classic Aussie pub that has had just enough renovation to keep it modern. Great meals, affordable drinks, gaming room and big room for major sports events are obvious but it's the friendly staff and incredible beer garden that make this place memorable.nThe traditional Aussie beer garden is almost a thing of the past but The Blue Pacific has a beer garden that is simply stunning! Great for families, great for groups and great for good times.nAllow a few hours because you won't want to leave!

I really enjoy going to blueys they have some of the friendliest staff, great service, amazing food and a great atmosphere.
