Food was great, Parma juicy and delicious, even the salad was fresh and crunchy - not that I order a Parma for the salad ;-) Word is there is a new crew in the kitchen, and I can attest they are nailing it.
And a schooner of New was $6.80.
How good is that!

Called in on the way to Wisemams ferry,on the bike, food really good had the Barra & Steak Sandwich. Service was awesome, great little country pub 30 minutes from Penrith.

Popped in for a quick feed. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was tasty and drinks were not over priced.

Great food at reasonable prices. The ribs are awesome, the steaks fantastic and the lamb shanks superb!
We always start with the Scallops Kilpatrick, the chili prawns and garlic bread!.

Recommend the Grilled chicken and garlic prawns very nice plenty of sauce friend had steak sandwich nice meat

Fancied a drive to a country pub. The food was perfect. Good pub food menu. Nice friendly staff. The steak was the best I have had in a very long time, certainly better than most steak houses. A true medium, not rare like most these days and obviously good quality. Hubby's steak sandwich was great too. Not the cosiest atmosphere, no comfy chairs for a drink after lunch, but you make your own entertainment. Will 100% be back with friends for another great lunch.

Totally unexpected gem whilst on a country jaunt. Food was reasonably priced, good portions. Service was solid and most importantly they allowed dogs in the beer garden.

On a Birthday group bus trip & stopped for refreshments for 20 odd persons.Great venue vibe : Friendly efficient hotel team with happy service a quality hotel -100% definitely return ??'?

I had a great experience with the staff but the food was over priced for the size no garlic in the creamy garlic sauce or garlic prawns and not happy with tomatoe sauce with prawns

After living in the area for 26 years, finally had a meal here with the family. Everyone enjoyed their meals and not a scrap was left. The staff were wonderful. We will be back, shame it took us this long to realise what a beauty we had at our door step

I popped in for lunch today with my husband. The service was friendly, the food was great value and tasted fantastic! If you are in the area it is worth a visit.

The new kitchen operator is absolutely amazing - the new menu offers a great selection and it's a great place for a filling and delicious feed.

As far a a pub feed goes this was poor ,limp chips over done meat, order messed up and excuses from the cook. There are other places close enough I can go for a meal and just leave this place to get a beer.

Nice little pub. Meals weren't great. Cold, limp chips, and only a few on the plate. Smallest salad I've ever seen. Fish was ok. But for $20 was pretty disappointing.

Love this old pub, but it just isn't the same under this new ownership's management & restaurant food. The new owners need to spend more time onsite to get to know the locals, and see/hear first hand what is needed. From what I know, a pub is built on relationships with the locals. Hopefully they will read this and improve the selection of grog and food.

Wow!!! What a wonderful little pub, we stopped in to have a drink & were pleasantly surprised, definitely be back for a feed, the smells coming from the kitchen were amazing!! Staff were lovely & nothing was a hassle(I'm currently on crutches), We bought 2 of their jumpers & they are so warm & comfy !!! Definitely coming back!!!!

Went for lunch here. Great little pub. And oh my God the T bone was amazing. This place is a hidden gem. Lovely staff dealt with our needs and were always smiling. Do yourself and family a favour. Take a day out and have lunch..

Lovely biker atmosphere however we were let down by bad food. T-Bone and veg= mash was hard veggies not cooked at all totally unedible. My chicken snitty came with gravy after saying no gravy. Took back and ask to take it off. They then threw it back into deep fryer and put back on plate salad was standard 2piece tomato, lettuce & rocket and awful bitter vinaigrette . Definitely won't be eating from their kitchen again until they review menu & or staff.

As Part of an SES crew last night we were turned up just as they were closing as we hadn't eaten for a while when on duty. The owners and all the staff turned the place all back on. The Chef cooked a beautiful meal for our two teams and we were feed beautifully and with the banter was great. As we finished we ended up be called to an emergency rescue job. Such great timing. We have promised to return sometime soon and make a day of it as our thank u back to guys. You had a busy day just like we did and you went above and behind for us. Thank u :-)

I couldn't praise this bar enough. Very very friendly, smiling staff, amazing food, great atmosphere, bbq for a coin dollar every second Friday afternoon. Definitely a place you'd go back.

Had dinner there last night (26.2.2021).
I was disappointed that the lambs fry and bacon was off the menu for the night. I had the sausages and veg with pepper sauce instead.
Fantastic. Really nice.
I'm really glad that I didn't have an entree as the meal size was very, very generous.
The beer was icy cold as well.
We were just passing through, but if I lived nearby, I would be a regular.

The food here is excellent. Very covid safe premises.I had the garlic prawns, delicious. I have previously had Oysters Kirkpatrick and rump steak.

A surprisingly delightful little spot, the food was amazing with huge portion sizes, the music was a very nice touch and the atmosphere was spot on!

Meals left a lot to be desired, big meal but the veggies were stone cold & the meat was dried out. Friends lambs fry wasn't cooked enough. Very disappointed. Staff were very friendly.

I have to say disappointed with the pricing of the drinks we paid $9.70 for 2 cans of coke.Not happy, and its bad business sense to charge that much as we wont be back.

Stopped to have "a couple of hamburgers" on a Saturday arvo with my wife.

I had the Chicken Schnitzel Roll & she had the Aussie Beef Burger (both $13.50). All I can say is make sure you visit hungry because the serving sizes were huge (check the photos) while still being very, very nice.

The Pub itself probably needs a little updating, but it is still clean with a great atmosphere. Some bistro tables inside but lots outside in the large beer garden. For a little local pub in Pitt Town it's really good.

Nice little pub. Food was good. Reasonable prices. Had live music the day I went. The mass of bikers sitting at the front door was a little intimidating. Surprised to see security in the middle of the day which makes me wonder why it's needed. Regardless I had a nice visit.
