My recent dining experience at Birallee Tavern Pub last January 25, 2024 was far from enjoyable, tainted by the rude behavior of one of the staff and a series of disappointments in service. The primary issues revolved around an excessively long wait for my order, neglectful handling of the food, and an unwarranted blame game.
I opted for the chicken wings, a seemingly straightforward choice that turned into an hour-long ordeal. When I finally decided to inquire about my order, the staff nonchalantly revealed that they had left it on an empty table because they couldn't locate me. Their excuse? I was seated in the smoking area, and apparently, food couldn't be placed there.
The lack of effort on their part to find us and the subsequent decision to leave the food unattended for over 30 minutes resulted in a cold and inedible meal by the time we discovered it. This level of neglect is unacceptable in any establishment, especially one in the service industry.
Adding to the disappointment was the behavior of one particular staff member who went so far as to blame us for choosing to sit in the smoking area. This blame-shifting was entirely unwarranted and demonstrated a lack of professionalism and accountability.
It's disheartening to encounter such a disregard for customers at Birallee Tavern Pub A successful dining experience relies not only on the quality of the food but also on the service provided. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by a lack of care, accountability, and professionalism from the staff.
I sincerely hope that the Pub takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues with their staff's behavior and overall service. Potential patrons should be cautious, as my experience suggests a concerning lack of concern for customer satisfaction at this establishment.

My wife had the lamb flatbread and said it tastes like cat food. I'm no chef but that doesn't seem ideal.

Dropped in to the Birallee on a Wednesday night for $15 Burger night. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The burgers were amazing. So fresh abs tasty. I would highly recommend dropping in for a delicious and a cold beer. Will definitely be back.

Had a beautiful lunch here. Had the beer battered Barra. It was cooked to perfection. The tartare sauce was clearly made in house. The batter was perfect. The fish was cooked properly and the chips were perfect too. It was also a large meal and only $15. Absolutely perfect

Beautiful place to dinner with friends or loved one. If you bring kids, ask for a table near the play room. My first barra and it was spectacular, and lauchy, at the bar, was a great help and very friendly. Oh and first time using a qr code to order. It was a great experience.

Great atmosphere and customer service was top class. Had the porterhouse steak with grilled veggies and peppercorn sauce...absolutely delicious!!!! Make sure to order the cheese/garlic Cobb loaf.

Was back in town so slid in for dinner, staff are super friendly, over and above what is required, so nice to see these days.

Pork belly with roast carrots and beetroot, steamed bok choi and some kind of magic sweet chilli sauce. I was quite impressed, pork was tender and the fat all rendered so good for the ol waitline compared to the usual roast.

Great stuff.

Could not fault anything about the place. Highly recommend for any occasion however we had a lovely birthday dinner for 7 people & we were treated like royalty.

Great pub! Consistently good quality, tasty, and good value meals with generous portions. We come just about weekly with our little children who love the kids menu and the play room. Tonight one of the friendly staff (they are always friendly and happy to help) offered to make me a surprise cocktail and wow it did not disappoint (he read our moods perfectly)! Warm and friendly and comfortable. And the Monday Tuesday and Wednesday night meal deals are delicious and extremely affordable! We will continue to be regulars for sure, and look forward to exploring more of the menu.

My family and I have been coming here for years and have always had a pleasant time! But recently we popped in and had the best experience we've had yet!! Our wait staff were so delightful and the food was delicious as always.

Would 100% be back here for dinner. Wait time was good, meal was great. Definitely what you'd expect from a nice place. A+ food, my steak was cooked to perfection as to what I like medium rare. Only place I will order my steak from, the carbonara was really good my children ate it all. Would like to thank the staff for our meals

Had a Saturday night dinner, booking was easy. Staff where friendly and gave us some options on seating as we chose outside but it started raining. Meals were hot and delicious, wine list was small but got the job done.

Food has been great every time.
Its also great to be able to order through my phone for both Food and Drinks, even pay that way makes it a better feeling (And yes you can still go to the counter to order but I find online better most of the time).

The only problem (Some times & Winter) is the room temp, We had lunch on a cold day and the pace had no heating on, just a small fire going, even sitting next to the fire was cold when out side doors open.

My husband and I enjoyed our lunch on Sunday! My husband had the lamb roast and loved it ! Very big portion and delicious, I had the baked snapper with tandoori sauce, mash and veg, so delish! The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were very helpful and nice! A great place to eat!!

One of the better options in town for a drink. Pots at happy hour can cost as little as two dollars, three pool tables and great food. Beers on tap included in photos. I highly recommend

Had a delectable meal this evening, ordered the twice cooked pork! Kids ordered barbecue chicken pizza, and one ordered the chicken parmi, could not fault it, even though he could not eat it all. My eldest son ordered the pepper squid! Definatly reasonable value for money for the quality of food... the place was not to crowded... I wasn't really impressed with paying 16.50 for three glasses of coke just to get a $10.00 pizza. I felt that the pizza just fed two boys, Lucky it wasn't for three. (Whew) cokes in little bit smaller glasses for kids and cheaper! Pizzas should be $10.00 anyway!!! Found it strange there was no one to take my order at the table, and have never heard of paying for a meal before you eat. What if I was not happy with the meal? I do not have the option to pay what I think it's worth! Definatly will be back though... Big changes with the service and meal I received in 2017. I forgot to mention one thing. Just a reminder to the chef's that if they have beards, they should have beard nets on!!! ??'???'???'?

Food here is good, priced well and outside dining. Gets very busy on weekend so best to book. Parking out front
