Another fantastic time spent here. We tend to have our big family catch ups here & again haven't been let down!

Clean venue, friendly staff & delicious food were again on the menu. Can't fault the place apart from the rude lady (who wasn't staff) from the Pokie area asking the kids (aged 18mths to 6yrs) to stop squealing! Don't think she saw the sign on the front doors saying 'family bistro' or words to the effect.

None the less, that didn't stop us all having a fabulous time!!

Great place to have catch up with friends and party for kids as they have a massive playground. Food is ok, nothing too stands out for comments, just like normal pub food. Can't comment on service either as you go up to order food and drink yourself, low score on that due to the place wasn't too clean.

Ate here at 11am on a weekday. The place was empty which was great as we had our kids with us! They enjoyed the playground!! It was in a separate room... if you have children, they will sit you down beside the window so you're able to see your kids while you eat!

The place was clean as it did just open.

Our food was average, but it was brought out quickly! I had the chicken parma. It was quite dry so I don't recommend this one. My husband had buffalo wings which he enjoyed.
My kids had the chicken nuggets and pizza meals, which came with free juice and ice cream - they were able to choose their own toppings which was nice.

I feel its worth paying the meals if you have kids. They'll really enjoy the playground.
If you come only for the food, probably best to eat elsewhere.

Wow. Decided to stop here on the way home to Melbourne from Phillip Island, with the children.

The food was delicious. I'm a steak guy and the Rib Eye was great quality, cooked just the way I asked.

The children playground is massive. It may as well be a play center with it's sheer size. Children will be entertained in there for hours while you get to enjoy your meal first!

Busy place with lots of extended families with kids. Very kid friendly. You can request tables away from the kids play area if you prefer a less noisy area.

Queue and order your food at the register in front of the kitchen and your drinks including coffee from the bar. Self serve water and glasses/plastic cups at the bar.

Had the Garlic Bread with cheese. That was good. Also got the Calamari Salad and a Salt and Pepper Calamari. The salad portion was small with not many calamari pieces. Same with the Salt and Pepper Calamari - it was mainly chips. Both the calamari and chips were prepared well.

Service was prompt, polite and friendly.

If I could give zero I would. I ordered food from here via Uber eats. Paid over $100 to get cold stale calamari and chips. Packaging was poor with spilled sauce all over one container. We ordered the lamb shoulder. All I got was a giant piece of pumpkin with a small amount of fat instead of actual lamb. No mash, No carrots, No mushrooms. And a hot hot salad. I put this on the restaurant not Uber because they are the ones that packaged this and prepared the food for delivery and deemed it good enough for consumption. I even paid Uber for priority so that I would get it delivered first. Uber eats aren't even refunding me as they said it was a restaurant issue and not a delivery issue.

Ordered a well done steak, got medium rare. Gave the place another go on a different night, took over an hour to get a bowl of chips to the table. They completely "forgot" about our drinks and told us the wait time was due to "everyone ordered at once so it was a big order". No apologies from them at all. Would not recommend.

Food was delicious with a very reasonable price point. The kids meals I was blown away with, size and options. Great facilities for families to bring their kiddies along but because of that it was very busy and kiddies everywhere. Overall though a lovely experience. Good was mega tasty and that's what you want. I had the lamb shoulder which melted in my mouth! Highly recommend this hotel for dinner. Thanks guys!

First time here since it changed hands from Zagames. Will be our last. The indoor playground has been enlarged to meet the local demographic...families and parties. On Sunday at 1.30pm the atmosphere more like feeding time at the zoo. We were surrounded by tables of uncollected plates for over an hour. Seemed grossly understaffed. Food order queue slow...thankfully the food arrived more promptly. Everything was commercially prepared however this was not reflected in pricing.A good spot for an after work drink and stop at that.

They have a gluten free menu. Pretty big menu too. Very busy place with lots of families and children. I think they may be short staffed like everywhere else as the floor could be a bit cleaner, but food was edible, and service was fine. Menu attached for June 2023.

Great for families and kids. Huge indoor playground and if there's a mess on the floor no huge deal. Food is what you'd expect from a family bistro and the bar has drink specials. Pizza was surprisingly very good.

Went here for Mothers Day dinner.
We were escorted by staff upon entry, directions where to order food and drinks were provided which is great.
Food orders arrived at a reasonable time frame. Staff were attentive enough as well.
The only downside was there's not enough space to move around between our long table and the long table behind us. Both tables have kid customers. Ample space between the chairs and tables could have been done but maybe because it's a celebratory weekend hence the packed number of customers.

I came to this establishment with my family of 7 and Sister with her Daughter. To say I'm disappointed is understatement. I do understand they were busy, however, I do believe, looking around the tables, they were large groups and would have been booked in advance.. so taking that into consideration, I believe they should have been more prepared!! Lined up for drinks for 20 minutes, Food took 1 hour and when it finally did arrive , there were parts of the order that were wrong and the food was terrible... The Ceaser Salad was obviously 'Bulk Made' , the Burger, chicken over cooked, and buns were dry, Calamari was hard and tasteless. The food hardly warm. The only good part of the night was the playground for the children. I also must say , the waitress's / Waiters were strolling around, looking absolutely clueless, with no enthusiasm. . I would highly recommend you try another bistro in the area. The Bar area looked fun , they had a cool cat with a guitar... so would say, go for a drink and chill. Not their food!!

Food is consistently good, my steak tonight was incredible and I 100% recommend the beef ribs.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. Even when little mishaps happen, as they do anywhere they're happy to help and fix the issue.
The kids area is great tho the machines need a bit better maintenance as a few were broken on our last visit.

Loved it, the kids playground is something you won't believe. My adventurous three old got lost inside plenty of times and was absolutely worn out by leaving time. The food came out at a standard time and the food smashed our expectations, especially on a busy Sunday. The vibe was fantastic (I'd love to come without the toddler) and the staff were professional, working hard and on the ball.
We came from the Mornington Peninsula and it definitely was worth the trip.

Had our baby's birthday event at the function hall which turned out quite well in the end. Hall had been setup as per the plan and staff were very cooperative on that day. Room was pretty comfortable to host 70+ peoples. There is a children's playroom beside the function hall which kept the juniors busy. Function room had 2 good size televisions to play any slides. Speakers were also available to be connected with bluetooth to groove on your playlist.
We had ordered for the cocktail menu which was decent enough. Although food arrived a bit late, but it was manageable. Bar and bistro service was pretty fast. All the staff were cheerful/helping during the event. They allowed us to do the setup in morning hours.

Improvements - Yeah, it was a bit of effort to follow-up with the management team. But, the person had fallen sick, so can't blame them exactly. May be the owners can keep someone as a backup manager for cases like this. Also, during the event although the staff were very efficient but we felt they were bit understaffed to manage that many peoples as few basic things like replacing the used glasses/cups, refilling the water jugs were getting delayed, or placing a placard for the veg/non-ved counters was never done. Again onus on owners like to have 1-2 more dedicated staff for the event. Also, few pictures of the hall and how the food will be served will be really useful for the customers who want to check this place as an option. So, a catalogue will definitely help.

This place has the potential to be a great venue for we locals. Hope the arrangement to be more perfect in the future. But, given the situation, we felt they gave their best. So definitely I would opt here for the second time and would like to recommend it too.

Hadn't been here for years as I didn't think much of the place, but a family member's birthday celebration has changed my mind. The food was excellent, the kids playground was awesome. Prices were reasonable. Will dine here again.

Bellow average meals, if I could I would rate zero stars. Bowl of wedges was ok, pizzas had too much cheese, chicken meals were pale and dry. Meals not what they were said to be on the menu. Roasted beetroot and pumpkin salad; beetroots were fresh out of the can. Not even a basic meal was done well.

Mother's day lunch today, went here mainly because of their indoor playground for kids and my daughter loved it. Food was good the menu selection was limited and when it comes to flavours theres room for improvement i liked my Steak but with mushroom sauce can do better.Ambience was good, staff were friendly. Management has changed and they are doing their best especially busy days like today ??'?

Highly enjoyed my first experience here. Staff were prompt and service was friendly. My children loved the park, it is MASSIVE & I even went inside the park. Will definitely come back.

Just want to give a shout out to Emma who was fantastic and reached out to connect our local football team with the shining star awards. She went above and beyond. Thanks for supporting our football team we really appreciate it. The kids are going to be so excited to receive these awards.

Large family orientated eating area. Staff pleasant and helpful. Food came quite quickly. Some prices rather high, but 'seniors' meals good value. Good indoor playground for littlies.

Had lunch today. Brilliant. All the staff were friendly, the food was excellent. Lots of room. Hugh play area for kids. Even have a Seniors menu for us old codgers. I had the Schitty and my wife has the fish and chips. Highly recommended.

Lots of gluten free options. The kids steak is very chewy and not very nice. Main meals are large and main meal steaks are high quality and worth the money. Cutlery could be cleaner. Kids meals are reasonably priced. Playground is a highlight.

We all enjoyed the new menu, my Mum was happy with all the gluten free options. The kids 10 & 12(just turned, there to celebrate her birthday) were very impressed by the new play space and the dipindots for dessert. We had a great night thanks to the wonderful staff, they are always lovely.

We (family of 5) ate here recently as we have just moved to the area and had never eaten at a Zagame's before.

Food is okay but not great. Considering the cost of most meals you would expect better quality better tasting food and less of a production line experience. The meals were pumped out pretty quickly considering the number of people there.

Kids meals come with soft drink with no flexibility to have another drink (like small milkshake) if the kids don't like soft drink. Drinks are from a bar.

Staff were friendly.

Cutlery was not well cleaned and chairs were pretty dirty.

A 10% surcharge is added to bills on Sundays, which is pretty poor considering that it comes across as a family restaurant (due to the large indoor playground) and Sundays are quite often a popular day for families to dine out or catch up with extended family. This surcharge adds a lot for no real reason, especially for large families. Maybe save the surcharge for public holidays.

The playground is pretty good for a restaurant playground. The playground is the only reason I've given two stars.

Went back again recently, it was good. I had a good snitzel, really enjoyed it.
The staff were quite friendly and helpful.

We went to dinner , fish platter - what l had tasted okay (small serve for $28.00) my husbands pizza had maybe one pineapple ring and was over cooked/ burnt in the bottom , an okay place if you have little kids and low expectations.

I celebrated my birthday with family at your venue. I was served by Courtney who walked from the kitchen to the entry to help me retrieve my $20- Birthday Voucher. Her friendly service exceeded my expectations. Having good front of house staff is so important in hospitality. Courtney is a credit to your team. Thanks for an enjoyable evening.
