Just passing through amd decided to eat at bowls club.Ordered roast beef, so tough you could not cut it. Would not recommend this place.

Tonight we went to The Benalla Bowls Club for the first time with our family. Let me say we were so pleased with the amazing service, wonderful large meals and the fantastic show we attended!! (The hypnotist was very funny and impressive)

The staff were absolutely exceptional!

Brady at the bar carried our drinks to our table, Jayde was very polite and hospitable and Daniel was very diligent with the staff he was overseeing.

I would 100% recommend coming here for a wonderful family friendly atmosphere.
Our daughter's birthday was celebrated and the staff brought her a little gift!

I didn't take any photos of our meals but I should have to be able to show you now. They were tasty and a good size. The service gave us enough time to have a conversation and enjoy the atmosphere there .the location has ample carpark spots and was easy to get in and out of. We did not bowl or gamble so I can talk about that here so look for other reviews on that.

Haven't been for quite a while but was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful surroundings, friendly, helpful staff and best of all the great meals. Reasonably large menu but plenty of choices to ponder and all of our choices looked and tasted lovely. Will be back again.

Used to be best place to eat gone downhill in last 3 months meals so much smaller ordered fish and chips got 10 chips 1 piece of fish and salad with no dressing not worth travelling from Euroa anymore will eat elsewhere

Travelling through the town, we had to wait 15 minutes for a table for dinner, as we hadn't booked.
They were very busy on a Wednesday night.
Ordered one of their "small" meals and were charged full price, which we didn't realise until later.
Food was delicious though and well-presented.

New here. Been to the club 3 or 4 times now. It's OK could easy get to 4 stars with the right things. Food was OK, staff ain't the happiest or very chatty. There's a couple that we're good a lady I forgot her name and Michael he was good! Asked how me how my night was going and If I'm having a good week! He and that other girl I didn't see tonight but hopefully next time . But I'll be back again atleast.

My family and i had lunch here recently and i highly recommend this place. The meals were very well priced and very fresh and tasty. There were 6 of us and every one of us enjoyed our food. Tables are well spaced in a big , bright dining room that was very clean with a small area with toys for young children to play. It had big windows with a nice view. The restrooms were very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back when in the area again.

Staff were a bit aloof at the bar. But the schnitzel and Parma were amazing! Properly cooked, not overcooked like most places

They served the best fish I've ever eaten in a restaurant. Husbands Bangers and Mash was the best ever he said. So pat yourself on the back Bowls Club.

Food and service was great. Cheap and delicious nightly specials and excellent choices on the normal menu.

My husband and I had lunch here. We both had the roast pork. The meat was not hot and the potatoes must have been days old, tough and inedible. Also, we don't know how they justify keeping our drivers' licence details and phone numbers for 30 days. The reason given was in case there's a fight and we might have witnessed something. What rubbish! There's more likely to be a fight in a pub, and they don't require ID.

Polite and friendly service with a smile. It was a comfortable environment in the bistro, and safely far enough away from the pokies venue to actually feel like a restaurant. While most of the food was great, some of the items were a bit sub par (undercooked broccoli, too much salad dressing). I'd eat here again.

Fast and friendly service. Food is alright with generous servings, nothing groundbreaking but the menu has a good selection of options without being complicated.

Would be fun to play bowls on a warm night with their $8 cocktails!

The meal was typical bistro grub but it took almost 1hr to get it. It wasn't busy, the wait was ridiculous.

A porterhouse so bound up in gristle it was buckled up and although cooked medium as requested it was also tough as.

Good food, great service, welcoming staff. Everything was good except not-so-good mayonnaise sauce. Will come back again. Also, small serves are enough as they're generous portions. Hence, mains are big meals and more expensive.

Waited 50 minutes for tea to arrive only to have a cold lambs fry and bacon. Asked for it to be heated No gravy Inedible. Left feeling disheartened. Would have to be the worst meal I have had. I understand they were busy but to dish up a meal like this is unacceptable.

Had been staying at a friend's place for the weekend and was taken there for Saturday dinner & we played Bingo on Sunday afternoon & I won two game, but shared one game - Yahoo! Lynette from Hastings

Very disappointing with prices, not sure if because of Covid, but we paid pub prices..and not the best steak... Fish mean was very small two small pieces of fish, most places you get at least 3 maybe 4 Ithought clubs wete meant to be cheaper, staff were great and very helpful... Wouldnt rush back for the food
