I have been hesitant lately in evaluating hotels due to the fluctuations in patronage over the course of a week. I spent considerable hours yesterday at this hotel and found it very mellow. Another alluring factor is that Steve (manager or lincensee) elucidated a no-nonsense approach to unbecoming/antisocial behaviour in the establishment which I believe is an appealing attribute. When we go to a pub, isn't that what we expect and enjoy per se?
Not being close to a major public transport hub should not be viewed as a negative. Contrarily, it fosters a place where you can have a beer with a sense of security and relaxation. I have decided to frequent the Belfield hotel more often as it was a pleasant experience. Don't delay and settle for the flotsam and jetsam in other surrounding hotels you may encounter. I liked my time there yesterday and shall be returning again. Steve is fair dinkum bloke and that is what you need nowadays.
