Do you want to experience the authentic unwelcome glared-at feeling that you would get at a run-down outback pub, but with the convenience of being 40 minutes from Adelaide in a town known for tourism and hospitality? Then look no further than the Bedford Hotel! The bloke behind the bar is as rude as they come and the pub is old and tired - we couldn't leave soon enough.

You'd be fooled into thinking this was a Karen's diner with the disrespect and blatant abuse we received from the bar person here. I've wanted to check out this pub for some time (with a plan to go back for dinner) so as we were passing by my friend and I went in for a quick look around. Upon us leaving the bar person rushed over and angrily asked us if we were buying a drink to which we said no, and he then proceeded to get right up in my friends face and shout and swear at us. Absolutely disgusting. Tip from me, go to the Woodside hotel instead.

Had the asian curry. Mmmmmm! The best meal i have had in any pub, ever, in all my life. Fantastic service and feed. Can't recommend highly enough. Thank you!

Staff are very friendly. Good range of options on the menu. Prices are reasonable, with some great specials. Dining room is small but has a wonderful electic decor. Definitely worth a visit.
