Nice rooms with great facilities. Staff were very nice and accommodating with easy access to the bar next door

I stayed here over the weekend and everything was perfect, from the location, to the rooms to the staff.

I dealt mainly with Jane the Resort Manager and Bonnie, both were delightful and couldn't possibly be more attentive and friendly, which really added to what was a great experience.

If you are planning to visit Byron and can stay here, you definitely won't regret it.

Had a wonderful time at the Beach Hotel Resort. The staff were wonderful. The pool and spa was beautiful. And the room was perfect and had a big comfy bed and a huge bathtub! Would love to come back again and will recommend to my friends

After a bad experience elsewhere we called to make a booking. Bonnie was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Rooms and pool area where clean but mostly it was the above and beyond attitude of the lovely Bonnie that I give them 5 stars, we will definately be back.

Amazing place to stay. Jane and team are super friendly and accommodating - nothing is a hassle. Rooms are nice and clean. The pool and spa is great even in winter as they are heated. Great location opposite beach and near restaurants. The only thing that could possibly make it better is if they offered a breakfast like they did many years ago but otherwise superb.

We came here for drinks. Very chill vibes, aesthetically pleasing. Friendly staff, nice spot for a drink. Live music sometimes. We came here 4 times and had an equally great experience every time.

The Beach hotel resort has all the comforts of a home away from home, it's clean and convenient for weary travellers.
A stone throw away from the beach and other open spaces for a relaxing stroll.
The friendly staff make you feel welcome and pampered.

This place use to be great but it has lost its value as a great place to dine. The main concern is the unesscary changes to the menu due to new and "innovative" owners as well as this the security guards did seem quite daunting at the Least defiantly bouncer vibes

We were really excited for our New Years & bought tickets for the beach hotel at the pricey cost of $75. Nothing included for the price , simply cost of entry. We were very confused when we were charged different prices for the exact same drink throughout the night. After asking the bar staff why the prices were changing, they advised we must have been given a 'locals discount' at some point. We are from interstate and had no idea what that meant, and don't understand why you wouldn't be charging the same price all night? Furthermore, drinks are already an exorbitant price. We may be holidaying in Byron but we are not made of gold. Second to this, our friend was kicked out of the bar because he was 'too drunk'. Upon explaining to security he suffers from a lazy eye (which he has had since he was born) they still proceeded to kick him out. Whilst we appreciate the security are looking out for the patrons, it was really upsetting to witness this level of discrimination against a friend who can't help the way he looks.

We've been to the Beach Hotel in the past but never received this level of poor service. Hopefully things improve in the future.

A review of this iconic Byron pub is hardly needed. Yet the music and food on a Saturday night in December is still great. Dinner and drinks for three came in at $129. We had pizza and the Angus rump. Views of the bay. Lots of space and seating. Friendly staff.

From start to finish our stay couldn't have been more enjoyable, sarah and the team were simply brilliant (warm, caring, happy, kind, responsive). The room was in excellent condition and very comfortable. As were all resort facilities. Handy to beach, pool, pub, jonson St and lawson St. Double thumbs up :-)

Had a lovely lunch here one day and the next some drinks.. Great atmosphere and entertainment with friendly staff. Nice gluten free pizzas for my coeliac daughters!

Wow I was delighted with the delicious food. I had the chilli prawn pizza, fish and chips, and a burger with more chips. They were all equally fantastic.The pizza was so much better than your dominoes pizza or Pizza Hut it was divine and the prawns felt fresh but nicely done. The chips had a perfect crunch and was nicely seasoned. The fish was indescribable, it was delicious as I believe the fish are caught are daily and the outside of the fish had a crunch and the inside was a nice fresh, seaside taste. The burger wasn't too oily or lacking and the meat was perfectly cooked. The salad was nice to refresh our mouths from the oil on the food. Also prices were a bit disappointing expensive but the quantity was huge and the quality of food was good. Overall I would be delighted to come here again.

Never had a bad meal here! Big pub by the beach but they run it well ??'? the whole family is happy. Worth a mention is their delicious fish pie ? for 2. It's hard to share but I tried. Drinks a $$$ and could be filled up a tad more but besides that. I'll be back

I love this place. The drinks are great, food a spectacular, service is lovely and the feel that the whole place has certainly transcends the Byron Vibe. It's a bit pricey but...come on. With a view like the one you have out front and the size of the venue, I'd pretty it's pretty damned worth it imo!

Super rude security - no explanation as to what was happening or that the night required tickets. Just said ' got tickets' than ushered us out. All good if the place was ticketed only, but a simple ' hey guys, sorry but this is a ticketed only' would've been nice.'

It's great to be popular, but not if your staff are jerks. All the best !

Food is terrible! Cold chips, dry parmagania, steamed veggies were the best part of the meal. Atmosphere was the only saving grave :(

If I could give zero stars I would! Very rude and unreasonable. Rooms smelt of mould. Would highly recommend the pub as the staff were amazing but do not waste your time going to the resort unless you want to be treated like a peasant.

Great location and view. Very uncoordinated restaurant and sadly bland food. I would definitely recommend giving this place a miss because there are so many better places to eat at within walking distance (Miss Margarita is our fav).

Small hotel with everything you need for a relaxing time near the beach. Close to shops and restaurants. The time spent in the pool was great. We even ordered some food and drinks.

It's a shame some people leave reviews here in regards the pub next door. This space should be for the accomodation only.

Wake up, swim in the pool. Walk to breakfast at one of the many nearby cafes. Go for a nice long walk along the beach before having lunch by the pool with a few cheeky cocktails. Back to the room for an afternoon before heading off to one of the many restaurants just outside your front door for dinner. Best location in Byron and can't recommend ordering your meals and drinks by the pool highly enough. Total relaxation!
Oh and Sam was excellent from the moment we checked in.

I went there with a big group of friends for drinks and food and it was great. I had the chicken parmy and it was up there with the best ones I had. The cocktails were really good too. The bar service was a little slow, on average I waited 5-10 minutes in line to be served. It had a really good atmosphere, and a great location right on the beach. I would recommend booking ahead of time as the line got extremely long early in the afternoon and often reached capacity. There was also one night they were charging $50 for entry which we decided not to pay and go somewhere else. On one of the nights we were there for a drink the band was playing slow music. The vibe would have been a lot better if there was a DJ playing or at least a band playing upbeat music everyone can dance to. Overall, this place is a must-go when in Byron and would defiantly go there again.

Made a booking for 10 people. They only had capacity for some of the group. Couldnt get us all on a table. What was the point in making a reservation and giving our credit card details if you cant ever seat the amount of people on the booking? Unorganised and unprofessional.Not to mention, not COVIDSafe.Wouldnt recommend booking

We stayed last week and the location was great but most of all amazing staff. Nothing was to much trouble. Pool area beautiful and our room was perfect thank you again can't wait to return

Great pub! Bar staff are awesome too! Shane about the security guards that constantly seem unhappy which then rubs off on to customers.... some staff training would really help them! Happy to provide free customer service training to them!!!!
