Great location. The Lunch Special menu is very good. Food is okay, recommended.

Overall great location, good drinks but food was no good. Oysters were bad - smelt off the minute they hit the table. Onion rings were greasy basket of slop as were the cauliflower bites which had double the batter to cauliflower (see pics). Seafood platter was ok.

Good selection of daily specials for only $15.
Our steak was cooked properly, tender and juicy. The chips were crisp and the salad was dressed with a nice green goddess style dressing. Mushroom sauce was delicious.

Lovely ambience with subtle lighting and atmosphere was very relaxing. Looking over a lake, it really exudes the holiday feel even though I was here on business. I had the Angel hair pasta with prawns, chilli, garlic, parsley, and saffron butter and parmesan (entre size) for my main and the apple and rhubarb crumble for dessert. Both meals were terrific with great taste and the right proportions. Really enjoyed them both. I arrived early without booking and enjoyed table 9 in front of the window overlooking the lake and gardens.
