My wife and I eat out a lot and We rate their menu as the best of any club so far, the prices are reasonable, the service is quick and the staff friendly. What else can you ask for?

We weren't welcomed when we arrived so tin a while to be given a table.
Three steaks ordered medium rare came well done. They replaced them, but by the time they came the rest of the table had finished eating.
The chicken schnitzels were a bit overcooked on the outside, and one was quite dry.
The food isn't cheap compared to what we pay elsewhere, so we expected better.
However, the servings were a good size, the kids cheeseburgers were huge! The starters were also good..
The waitstaff were all very friendly and helpful.
The play area for kids was chaotic when we were there and not safe for our smaller children.

We love Bateau Bay Bowling club however I pretty certain there is a new manager, and he is a misogynistic pig!
He told us last night when we asked why the Matilda's soccer game wasn't playing on the big screen 'It's not even a game worth anything' wow, those words spoke volumes. He also likes to turn the NRL up to the highest volume so if you think you're going to get in a conversation with your company at dinner, you will be sadly disappointed.
I suggest the men speak to this man if you have an issue as he sure knows how to speak down to woman!

Had such a wonderful experience thanks to Megan from the kitchen dining area. Megan created a special Affogato with Tia Maria as liquor base.
Her service was exceptional and the presentation was superb.
I have had a few Affogato's in my time.
This was by far the best I have had.
Thank you for creating something that was not on the menu.
My fiancé and father in law were also very impressed.

Sensational service and prices. Great lounge area for a drink. Not great that you have to walk past the smokers area to go through the front door.

Went for dinner here. Great menu with a Asian food bias and prompt service. Very busy when I arrived but my 9.30 I think I was there only one left there.
It's a shame that food prices are all these clubs are so high, clubs always used to be somewhere you good get a good value meal !

Everyone left with empty plates and full stomach. Staff on entry warm and welcoming. Felt like a friendly team working away.Realy impressed and have now been here a good few times.Even on an absolutely crazy holiday in January, the place was kept clean and food still good.

Great area for kids and family. Kids play area right next to family dinner. Food was good too, with a bit of variety while still offering the favourites. Unfortunately we were in and out too quick. Would love to go back.

I added the curry sauce (from the Naan dish) to the Chow mein - tasted so much better.

I reccomend the Wings, Satay Combination, Pad Thai and Laksa.
I will update this recommendation next time I go.

My wife and I went to the Club for a meal, pricey when compared with Sydney clubs, most meals cost extra for something that is normally included, for example I had Mongolian beef, rice was extra.
There is a considerable $5 or $6 difference in price per dish for non-members like us, similar for drinks. Obviously only locals are welcome, the Club is appropriately located in Bias Street.

Service upon entry was lovely. Entertainment was also really good. We went for dinner and the food was good, a little expensive for what you get, but overall okay. The food come quick and staff were efficient, all food was good, but I wouldn't say great. The children's playground is fantastic for keeping them entertained. It was a good night there.

Love the food here, variety is good. There pretty fast even when busy. Perfect for families as they have a playground fir the kids. Have never been disappointed ??

Apart from the above the food is lovely drinks are great value & the staff are always friendly & helpful. The main lounge is area is always good for last minute visits.

The Bowlo at Bateau. Didn't know this place existed until about 3 weeks ago and I was not disappointed at all. Similar food and drink menu to the rest of the Wyong Leagues Group and that suited me very well. Food was pretty decent, drinks were cold and plenty of indoor and outdoor wangers to chew a dart and slap. Got pretty written off and didn't get kicked out so that was great as well. It was a great night.

Can't fault the food here. Delicious! Great for the kids too - an indoor playground next to the restaurant.

Friendly staff. Meals were lovely but expensive (I had salmon) for the size.

Asian meals were good price if you're into that but if you're in a group it might benefit becoming a member to save $ on meals and drinks.

Nice atmosphere in the club with a community spirit amongst the bowlers and the pokies were tight as.

The staff are friendly, the meals are excellent (especially the Asian dishes?) prices are reasonable especially if you're a member. Good idea to phone and book a table as they can get busy any time of the week that ends in "day". ???'?

Lovely club. Great play centre for the kids and very Family friendly. Food is great and well priced too. Plenty of room.

Usually go for meals there. The menu is diverse and the food well cooked and presented well. The staff very friendly.

Definitely a cut (or two) above most clubs. The meal selection is extensive and their Asian meals were way above what we experienced at one of the local Asian Restaurants. Wished we had discovered this place on the first day we arrived as we would have returned a number of times. Would definitely recommend this place. Thank you "The Bay"!

Great Malaysian food, fresh and tasty. Good wine. Security guard with the long hair on tonight was a great bloke. All round good experience.

Sweet n sour pork lunch special was DELICIOUS.

only complaint is that they use styrofoam cups for the kids. Oh but paper straws. Come on guys! You're almost single use free!!
