Had never been to this pub before because we usually always go to the Red Beret. We ordered four main meals. Food came out very quickly but I believe it was because it had been cooked prior and had been left in the warmer for too long. Parmigiana was very crunchy, a bit dry, and much smaller than what we would get at the Red Beret despite costing more. We also ordered 2x beef burgers for the kids. One was nice but the other one was raw in the middle. Fourth dish was the pork belly. It was a very small portion size, and had a too strong aniseed flavour. Can only give the meals a one star when factoring in cost. Disappointing as the atmosphere and service was good. We will never go back for the food.

Stopped in for lunch. Ladies serving were very friendly and welcoming. Food was superb. I had a lasagna which was amazing. Atmosphere is good. A spot were I could sit and enjoy myself.

So surprised I'd never been here before after living in Cairns for so long. It's an awesome Aussie pub that will give you as good as food as it does vibes!
