Maybe we experienced a bad night, though there were 15 of us staying in Barham for the week of Christmas through New Years. We ate at the services club on night one ( wasn't bad) and had booked at the Barham Hotel for night two. When we arrived and ordered drinks at the bar, the bar tender looked for our bottle of red wine in the fridge... When we explained that red wine wasn't kept in the fridge she was embraced and surprised. We also ordered beers and champagne. They couldn't locate 6 champagne glasses, so we drank out of wine glasses. That is what it is.... The food however was horrible. I don't think anybodies meals were good. Half of the items on the menu and specials board were sold out and the waitress was stressed out and rude. everything was too hard for her. It was a terrible experience all round. We come to find out of the next few days that the locals don't eat there. The employees at the local IGA, Foodworks, Butcher and News-agency all suggested the Royal Bridge up the block, or the Mates Royal Hotel over the river in Koondrook. I would suggest avoiding this pub if staying or travelling through Barham.
