The lamb shanks was steeped in red wine and rosemary sauce and, as the menu promised, it melted in my mouth. Beautifully cooked and served. Lamb shanks is a favourite of mine.
I had the 500g rump steak the other night, medium and cooked to perfection. The chef obviously cooks meat dishes with great respect to the animals we have sacrificed for our food. On a whim I ordered the pecan pie, and I scored the last one for the night. A yummy, crunchy, wicked treat with ice cream. I've never actually had pecan pie before.
What always counts is service and the staff at Graziers in the Balaclava are wonderful. They are welcoming, warm and genuine about making your dining experience a good one. They treated me as if I was a much loved regular. Thank you.
I only live around the corner from the Balaclava and I don't swing by anywhere near enough. I shall.
