A nice hotel on the seafront in Kingscote with a good restaurant and comfortable rooms. Check in was straightforward, receptionist friendly. Our room was on the ground floor, it was clean and had everything we needed for our two night stay though not very soundproof...we had a rather noisey neighbour! The food in the restaurant was very good and I must just mention Mariana, our lovely waitress from Chilli.....she was such a ray of sunshine....a credit to the hotel! ðŸ'• Kingscote is a good base to explore this beautiful island! We saw seals resting in the sunshine on the old pier in the evenings and playing in the waters in the mornings! All in all a good stay at this historic hotel....check out all the old photographs in the dining area!

Pretty much perfect. Had a minor maintenance issue on arrival, went to reception to report the issue, by the time I walked back to the room, maintenance were there, full of apologies and quickly rectified the issue, very well done. Staff bright and cheerful, polite, professional and prompt. Great service from all staff Room was clean and functional, beds very comfortable. Food was excellent, both evening meals and the breakfast buffet. Overall very happy, will stay there again and more than happy to recommend Aurora Ozone KI

What an amazing level of services.
The Ferry to Kangaroo Island wasn't going so we couldn't make it to the hotel. They have been so helpful and agreed to cancel the booking we had at no cost despite the fact we had booked with no cancelation option so should have paid the full amount. Very generous and I am sure next time we are able to come over there will be no doubt where we will stay! Thank you so much!

Outstanding comfort and outstanding food!
Very comfy bed, clean room, nice shower.. everything 10/10.

We had a fantastic steak for dinner which I was blown away by its flavour and tenderness.
Breakfast was very delicious with decent options!

Highly, highly recommend!

Spent 2 days in Kingscote and enjoyed the lovely breakfast here, very reminiscent of US breakfasts.
Also had a couple of evening meals which were very good, except we had issues when entrees came out with the main meals. On questioning this, it was obviously too hard for the chef and serving staff.
Despite this I would recommend this hotel. The views from the dining area are special and worth visiting it for a meal, or even drinks.
