What a bloody feed. The schnitys are massive and really good. Great value for money

Went there today on way home to Hay, nine of us for lunch; we all agreed had the most amazing service and most enjoyable lunches. I personally had the most delicious Warmed Chicken Salad I have ever had, a hugh THANK YOU to all concerned. Phyllis Jones. OAM

Went there for lunch had the parmi with chips. Was spot on the chips were hot and crispy and the parmi was very big and nice and hot the sauce was a little bit strong but amazing overall. staff are friendly and I will defiantly be coming back.

Cheaps meals 2 for 30 can't beat it good portion size fast service and tasty food

The food is great the toilets are spotless service is great and staff are very cheerful and polite

I ordered the pumpkin risotto and deeply regretted it. Was very bland and somehow dry?! Not sure how a risotto can be dry. However the wait staff and chefs were lovely, and all of my companions enjoyed their food - maybe mine was a one off.

Came out for tea and was not disappointed. Food was spot on and massive serves. The 2 for 1 price on a big range of meals is the best deal in wagga and when you combine that with the quality it blows it out of the park. Will definitely be back here again. I reckon we have found our new go to pub for meals in wagga. Plenty of off street parking, full bar and great service from all of the staff both front and rear of house. We had a chicken parmi with gravy, fish and chips, and kids Dino nuggets and it was a TOTAL $38. Some pubs in wagga charge nearly that just for a parmi or a fish and chips but we got it all for that price.

Stopped in here for a lunch countery with some work mates. I had the Aussie schnitzel ($15 special) and it was the best pub feed I've had for quite some time. Couldn't finish the plate. Staff were very friendly and the crowd seemed well earned. Well done Ashmont inn.

When we walked into the pub it was very poorly decorated, the place looked dirty, understaffed and just had a bad vibe.

We got to our seats and realised they didn't even have menus. You have to go to the bar and look at the board on the wall which got crowded quickly.

They only have one register so ordering takes forever and the servers couldn't care less.

We ordered our food and it came out with decent speed although one of our sides was missing. The portions are massive and on the menu board they don't actually describe what's in the dish so you have to guess.

They have a nice outdoor closed in playground for the kids, TV's everywhere, security cameras everywhere, atmosphere machines, toy grab machines and a [---] room.

Overall the food was nice but I hated the location. It was to trashy for me personally.

We heard from others that the meals at the Ashmont Hotel were really good. We've been a couple of times now and so far so good. The food is home style and done well. They do an EPIC mixed grill, the best in Wagga. You will not be hungry when you go home. As long as they remain consistent people will keep coming. We'll definitely be back. Congrats to all of the kitchen staff. Keep up the good work. We didn't stay at the motel.

Very good food, and not to pricey either. The staff are very friendly and helpful. And tap beer isn't too expensive either.

Even though it was very busy (Wednesday night) our meals came out quite quick and were generous servings and very tasty - thoroughly recommend

$10 for a yummy steak sandwich. Also had a great win on pokies!!
