This is possibly the worst pub I've ever been to in my entire life. Apart from the fact its TAB and bookies orientated which automatically drops it several stars, the life has been completely sucked out of a fairly historic looking building. Amazingly enough though the food is pretty decent especially the parma but having to eat it in that pub is not worth it

Absolutely cooked vibes. Went in for dinner and no-one was there. Welcoming staff were kind but a fundamentally gambling-oriented space.

Nice Bar to sit and chat. Dinners are not too bad at all. Friendly service.

Not eaten here but good location and beer cheap. 3 stars because it defo needs a revamp inside. To make it more friendly and inviting to sit and eat

Dropped in on a very rainy night with some mates had a bit to eat and a few ciders, oldish decor but warm and comfortable.

New cook, ordered chicken parma plus pot $20 special, cheese was a little over done but meal tasted great. Plenty of sport on, saw the footy as well, very close to Malvern train station. My mate got the steak n chips with mushroom sauce.

Great pub that has been recently restored, with a new look and feel! Fantastic place for Friday night drinks, or a relaxed meal with friends. The new chef has updated the menu with a range of meals to suit everyone, with gluten free/dairy free and vegetarian and vegan options.

Surprisingly good food and cold beer. Great weekend specials

Love the place! Still kept its old heritage while offering 5 star meals ❤ the bar staff are still as friendly as ever! They have gone out of their way to respect the locals, which is the sign of a true blue local pub. Shout out to Imogen, Jiovann and Alex who make my friends and I feel very welcome. Good work.

New renovations have turned this amazing establishment into the best pub in Melbourne. Wide range of beer and a clean front bar and pokies area there's not much more you want from a pub located in a perfect area I highly recommend anyone out to send me an Angel and enjoy the illustrious Angel Tavern.
