Lovely experience,staff very polite and efficient. Food great,our table of four each had the seniors 3 course option...perfectly sized portion, very well cooked and presented.We will be back.

As always the service and atmosphere was impeccable. The staff are helpful, friendly and welcoming. Sadly the pizza was undercooked and the parmigiana was somewhat burnt. The deserts were a show stopper. Despite the hiccups with the food, we will be back.

It was great value for Seniors! It's nice to reach the age of a senior and see the local looking after the aging population, it's still a treat to be able to go out for lunch..

We keep coming back every couple of months but to be honest not feeling the menu. Our meals were a two out of 5 . Prawns , chicken over cooked. Flavours were nice but overall not great considering the price. Sorry not quite what we were expecting even though we keep trying it

We have never been disappointed with our meals at Aldinga Hotel, and we have been multiple times. The steaks are awesome. And this week's special.....we love them!

The service was excellent, food is was delicious. Great value for your money. Good selection of wines and beer. The renovations look great,family friendly the atmosphere was fantastic

Yesterday was the second time we had lunch with friends at the Aldinga Hotel. The food and the service was excellent the first time, so we tested it again for the second time yesterday and the meals were awesome and plenty on the plates. The staff and service excellent. The only negative was the table I think was number two was near the door and it was a bit breezy and busy. We are making the Aldinga Hotel our local go to everytime.

They cannot be bothered, or don't, cater for food allergies - beware.
We visited here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch - we did not have a booking. We were seated at a table outside. We both ordered "Salt & Pepper squid, Chips & Salad" - and this is where it went sideways, and is the reason we will not ever return. For meal 1, the staff were asked to provide a salad containing no onion due to an allergy - We were told "No, they are pre-prepared in the morning, it's too busy and we wont have time - You can have Veg". In hindsight, we should have just left right then.
Meals arrived - NO chips - we asked for chips and when we ordered, there was no mention that we... A) Could not have them, or B) The dish does not come with them.
So....we have Salt & Pepper Squid, no chips with Veg and a sweet soy/type tamarind dressing - probably good with salad or squid - not so much with veg - Yum - NOT. Poor & rude customer service, wont be returning.

Arrived (very) late for lunch, to find the kitchen was closed... (our fault).
However we were offered wood-fired pizza's by very helpful and thoughtful staff.
Food service was terrific and the upgrades to this old hotel made the visit not only pleasant (great noise suppression, wonderful natural timber tables, good seating/layout), but also very interesting with the reflection to history embedded with the decor and the build.

My friend and I had a lovely evening. The staff are so friendly and we're happy to give us a taste of wine when I was unsure before buying. I had the daily special which was the chicken, bacon and mushroom risotto. It was delicious 😋. Lucky for us they had live music on in the front bar who were great. Love this place. Definitely recommend.

Refreshing good.
Light tender squid, nice Asian style sauce and an ty salad.
Quite enjoyed it.

Loved the food and the staff here. The portions were generous enough to be good value and they have good drinks on tap (although the glasses seemed a little small to a QLDer). Loved the Marg Pizza and the bowl of sweet potato fries 🤙

Staff were a little rude to begin with.

Personally meals were overpriced for the serving sizes.

In the end the food was absolutely delicious and amazing. Just a bit pricey as I said. Thanks to the bar staff for being so polite. Veggies and shnitty's were melting in our mouths and very happy with all the food!

Had a fantastic lunch. I had the open chicken Kiev and my husband got the schnitzel. I am gluten free so no crumbs just chicken breast cooked to perfection and the broccoli was just right with a slight crunch. Loved the mustard sauce. Would highly recommend.

What a busy place and no wonder, the food is great and they have done a great job with the refurbishment!
We had the two meals from the seniors menu. I had the fish and chips with salad and my wife had the chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce and salad.
The size of the meals were just right for a late lunch. Only wish there was an option for vegetarian meals, particularly for the seniors. Otherwise well liked ??'?🏼
Enjoyed another lunch with my sister and her husband.

Currently having tea at this wonderful place. The food is awesome and so well presented, I've aready finished mine.

The staff are friendly, very professional and efficient.

It's been a great experience for us seeing as we booked last minute and they fitted us in on a public holiday.

Very impressed, we haven't been here for years, the renovations are excellent. The meals were beautiful and very ample sized serves. Good menu selection too. Friendly staff.
All round a good experience.
If there is one thing to pick on, it would be, a couple of the waiting staff should wear there covid safe face masks correctly.. over their mouth and 'nose'.. if you are going to wear them, may as well do it properly.
Other than that, we loved Aldinga Hotel.

Make sure you don't go passed here on your trip through. Modern interior, amazing food, great staff, great chefs, great beers on tap. 10/10.

Walked in on a Saturday night with no booking. Sammy the bartender helped us get seats outside, which was great as it was a beautiful night. Sammy even went and searched for some seats as there were not enough seats for the 3 of us. Sammy's service was outstanding and it was with a smile. Great friendly service and amazing food and atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Thanks Sammy 😀

booked a month ago to accommodate elderly mother and pregnant daughter but on ringing to check time of booking we've been advised they have no booking for us !! now we're out in beer garden!! to say we're disappointed is an understatement, lets just hope the meals and service are top notch and that one of us isn't a secret shopper reviewing the pub.....

Nice setting, clean and comfortable seating. Efficient and happy staff. Meals were tasty and reasonably priced. Happy to dine there again.

The food was absolutely 5/5 very high quality. Unfortunately took a star off as it was over an hour wait but it was peak time. Worth the wait

Had an amazing meal. Entree was the Kilpatrick oysters. Amazing..
Then mains the Wife ordered the special steak with a blue cheese topping. Was a great size and perfect.
I ordered the black Angus steak with veg and caramelized onion bacon topping with jus.
The food we ordered was perfect. Had just the perfect smoke flavour also.
And what we saw coming from the kitchen looked amazing
The actual Dining room was laid out and the atmosphere made it more enjoyable. Very authentic and fitted well.

From what we seen I would gladly return and highly recommend to others.

The only con I could point out was the serving staff need a bit of Training with the table numbers. Noticed a few issues with food going around table to table but may have been a few newbies or just a bit overwhelmed.

Good food at a good price and service was way quicker than we thought, only a 5 min wait! Wasn't too busy when here so your mileage may vary. The new premise js great, really knocked it out the park with the aesthetic. Will go again.

Lots of craft beers on tap and a nice outdoor area.

The kitchen is not open during the so the only thing available at 4 pm for the kids was a large pizza or a bag of crisps. This definitely needs to change.

4 star review for the time being due to only the limited dining.

A fabulous renovation. Left a lot of the old charater but has a quirky modern look. The old cellar/ tunnel looks amazing but not open the day we were there. But could smell it! Brought back memories of my Grandparents cellar. There last Thursday going back again today( Thursday) Menu a bit limited, but I have notices a lot of places have pulled back on menu choices. Food very good. The surprise was the bowl of green vegetables. Delicious. A great local pub, with really friendly staff. Only down side...my friend ordered the chocolate brownie and couldn't have it as it was in child menu. Its a sale what's, the difference. A child can order a meal from the Adult menu! I guess it comes down to $$$$$. Next time will have a dessert across the road at Maxwell's. But this is no biggie, still think the place is great.

They spent million dollars done up the place...well done! All the correspondent facility n movement slowly matching up(dining, gaming, entertainment etc). Will be a bright jew for the people live down south...

Very impressed. First time there and looking forward to the next visit. Oysters were amazing and all other food was delicious. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend.

The food was good, massive serves of fish and chips which were delish and the kids grilled chicken was also a good size and was on the money. Please serve lemon slices and a bit more sauce with your fish, I had to request both.

The only thing that wasn't ideal was the garlic bread. It was quite dry. I would change the bread to more of a turkish bread type and put more butter and garlic on it, but apart from that, an overall positive experience. We will be back.

Had the best pub meal I've had for ages. I highly recommend the Miso pumpkin dish.

My Husband Kevin and I love our local Hotel.
We visit every Second Thursday for a beautiful meal with our Son and his wife.
We enjoy the beautiful food, the friendly staff, everyone is so accommodating friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The serving of food is amazing and what we love when we receive our food it is always hot and very tasty.
Love the renovations. It looks absolutely fantastic very cosy atmosphere and very homely. Well done to everyone involved you done a magnificent job upgrading the Aldinga Hotel. Love it. -❤️ xx

Friendly staff, good atmosphere, welcoming for families and children.
They have the BEST wedges we've ever eaten, hands down!
Will be even better once the car park is finished

Had some beers in the front bar. Good (won't say great though) staff, nice fresh cold beer, however the amenities are vastly outdated. The toilets are really substandard by today's expectations and remind me of classic pubs in remote areas. Great for those experiences but out of place for the Fluerieu Peninsula. The owners are obviously just cashing in like so many these days, and spending no money on their patrons comfort.nSuch a shame. Wish I owned it.

Had lunch here today with friends. Absolutely delicious. Huge servings and great service. Thank you. I recommend the satay chicken. And the squid was nicely cooked. Melts in your mouth.
