The food is nice but the place needs a good renovation. It's looking a bit old and tatty.

Ordered $200 worth of food and they missed one kids meal, Instead of preparing a kids cheese burger meal asap it was placed at the end of the line, after waiting 40 min and asking about the meal we were told it would be another 10 min, 15min later no meal so I requested a refunded! First and Last visit.

Meal over cooked, received later than others and dessert didn't turn up after confronting into the reason. Overall the service was poor and wouldn't recommend this place.

Went there today was going to have a meal, few drinks a flutter and do bare foot bowling.
We arrived the lady at front counter was lovely.
Sighted mine, hubby, daughter and her partners Id address etc.
We went to bar all purchase drinks then went to have a flutter on pokies.
My daughters partner then went to bar for another drink.
We then finished on pokies grabbed a table to sit relax and get another drink.
The man behind the bar approached us and asked if my daughter and partner were over 18.
He was the bar tender who served my daughters partner alcoholic drinks not once but twice...
We were very put off and felt very uncomfortable we left straight away and headed to the rsl where we all had a great time and many laughs whilst playing pool.
Will NEVER go to the bowling club again..

Food was very average chips were cold and hard salad was fine pie was not very nice at all service was good and pleasant

Bowling club that is loved by its members. Getting a little outdated and could do with some renovations to bring it into the 20th century, but good staff and good food.

Friendly staff and a mad feed. Had our twin boys birthday there at lunch. Drinks are a good price and the food is amazing and big portions.

I'd give them more then 5 stars if I could. We had my twin boys baptism party and all the staff was absolutely amazing, the party went amazingly well. Thank you Alan from the restaurant and all the staff, both bar and kitchen, you guys rock!

A typical Clubs NSW Club that supports the prosecution of a whistleblower on death's door. Failure to comply with money-laundering reporting requirements and now trying to go after the person who blew the whistle.

We had my father's wake at the club, the food was lovely and they gave us containers to bring home what was left. It was a lovely club

Had a meal in the bistro. Reasonable prices. Most of the meals were ok. Burger Sliders were too dry and not very tasty.

Had lunch here on Easter Sunday. Very reasonably priced and the portion sizes are huge. It felt like a food challenge. We took home leftovers and had it for dinner. Very nice food and great atmosphere.

We had our wedding in the function room last weekend. I have to say a really big thank you to everyone there. Including the bar staff and bistro staff, especially Allan who went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible day

DISCRIMINATION...
My family & i Went to visit my local club as i am a member, only to be told we are not welcome because we choose not to be vaccinated, although it was after the 15/12/21 when it was no longer a government regulation... I dont understand how our religious or medical choice should make a difference or be any business of Albion park Bowling Club after 15/12/21.
To say it is to keep staff and other patrons safe does not make sense when 96% of the state is vaccinated and more than 20,000 people per day are testing positive for covid in NSW.
We will take our business to the Shellharbour Club and lots of other clubs and hotels that do not wish to discriminate...

We had dinner in the restaurant and just want to say how delicious it was. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the pasta so good.

Great food and great raffles. Also has coeliac friendly menu. Highly recommended

My wife and I know that this club is one of the hidden gems in the Illawarra, with quick easy (Covid safe) check in that allows us to wine and dine (very tasty food) in a relaxing environment.
Has a safe children's play area and quick friendly service from all staff members.

Also has Tab and gaming available with quiet areas to sit and enjoy a coffee with friends.

We'll definitely be back, enjoy.

Club seems popular,many people drinking ,eating , etc. Found food very average, but, pricey for what you got. The special Mexican ,meal not great. Otherwise fine.

My son and i dined in the bistro tonight i had Pork ribs w/ mash & veges and son had Chicken Schnitzel w/ chips and salad i could not fault the food at all ribs cooked perfectly just melted in my mouth loved it.
Ive been a customer at bistro for many years food great no complaints friendly service all round as a former Manager in Hospitality Industry i would recommend the bistro to my family and friends oustanding service and food will definitely be back again keep up the great work ???'?
