So I visited again and while the ambience was definitely great, the service not so much. If you're going to close the kitchen then instead of switching the plates with takeaway boxes after its served, you can serve the food in the takeaway boxes to start with. It was really awkward for us trying to move food from one plate to another.

Gotta love the Albion Hotel. The $20 200g rump steak special for lunch is great value and was perfectly matched with a 4 Pines, Big Mood Bru. Service was good, but I did get in trouble for not taking a table number. I did mention that I never got given one! but that didn't seem to matter. Gotta laugh. Enjoy

My steak wasn't rare as asked but more medium, despite having gravy on the menu with other food, you couldn't have it with this meal

I ordered a mocktail paid $12 and it was about 5 sips them a glass filled with ice to the top that you couldn't even finish it. When I went up to complain about the cost and how much drink was actually in the glass their excuse was that it's a cocktail and it's a guess of how much to put in so fill up with ice. Are used to work at a club in the cocktail bar and you measure everything out and don't top it up with ice. I got a bit of lemonade as to fix it. So a total rip off

The thing going is it's dog friendly and the staff brought my dog a container of water over and were helpful

I hadn't had a night out for years it was a great night out with my Daughter and we meet some nice people and I would like to say thankyou to my daughter Natalie for giving me a awesome night Albion is a great place and plays good music .

Friendly staff. Some parking on-site. I've only visited at lunchtime. But it looks like the hotel trades late with plenty of music. I've also visited here on a weekend afternoon and caught some live music sessions. There are TAB and Keno facilities here.

Albion has a mix of covered and uncovered space, roomy enough to let one enjoy the atmosphere.

Food usually tastes very good and is priced well. People loved the pizza n fries that came by. Sweet potato fries would have been a great addition.

The bouncer wouldn't my let me or my partner in despite only having had 2 drinks for the night. We were celebrating our anniversary and had had a lovely dinner and was in the mood for a dance but they wouldn't let us in just because we were overdressed and didn't fit the majority of people dressed in either jeans or trackies. Having been here before, I was sorely disappointed in the bouncers' attitude. We shall not be going here again.

Albion Hotel exceeded my expectations. Our food came out in just under 20 minutes. I had ordered the wrong sauce so our waiter Ruth, gave me the sauce for free. It is normally $2! She then did the same for my friend. Ruth displayed exceptional customer service and made our visit to Albion Hotel that much better. As we were participating in Trivia Night, Ruth noticed our party looking quite down and sleepy. That is when she gave us some jellybeans to lift our spirits. Will definitely be back! Thank you Ruth!

Really nice pub. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is good. I ordered the cheese burger which was very nice. I'd definitely recommend the Albion Hotel

Friday night pub feed for dinner. First try of the newer menu - we prefer the last menu over this one.
Live music is always great in particular when dining. Bistro staff were all friendly.

The Albion is a dog lovers oasis in the desert that is Parramatta venues. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor area 12 till 8pm daily and you hardly need to sit down before a friendly staff member has delivered a bowl of water for your dog.
Beer selection is a good mix of classics and what appears to be a few rotating taps of more boutique options. Menue includes a range of cocktails, and friendly bar staff are happy to answer your questions and make recommendations.
Food is reasonable prices and dishes have a heavy mediterranean influence, options for GF, Veg and other dietary requirements.
The real test of a pub is the schnitty, these guys have one slightly on the pricey at $25 but definitely a quality product, moist on the inside, crispy crumbly on the outside; chips which came out fresh and crispy, not too heavily salted, choices of sauces, I went the pepper gravy, came out in a smallish tub, probably a little too small for the amount of chicken and chips on the plate.
They have misting jets set up to help cool the beer garden on a hot day.
Overall a reasonable place for a few beverages on a warm afternoon but definitely the place to be if you have a fur baby!

The food here is a complete rip off. The $20 Mediterranean bowl is pathetic; a scoop of hummus, a cup of plain white rice, two cherry tomatoes, and some sweet potato crisps from a bag. Avoid.

It was lovely to sit outside under the twinkley light. My steak was a bit chewy but the meal was enjoyable. There is on site parking, which is great!

Quiet wed night dinner, twice cooked BBQ chicken was great! Slightly unbalanced dressing, but the spiced chicken and kale salad was delicious. Loaded burger left a little to be desired (well, more just remove the taste of the chargrill that needed a bit of a clean) but otherwise great lil pub.

Great bar, excellent negroni, beautiful beer garden and it's dog-friendly. A lady camr up to us with a dog bowl and 3 dog toys! Gave Albion 4 stars due to the food being a bit hit and miss.

I was having a good time. Ordered a cocktail and a small chips through their online app to be served at the table.Order went through and I got the email with the receipt. I received my chips however the drink never arrived. went to the bar and they advised me to follow up with the kitchen. Went to the kitchen and they told me its bar's responsibility, went back to the bar and they simply told me if I want a drink I have to order it again. Not going back ever.

Only negative was the SLOW BAR SERVICE. Literally can sober up just waiting to be served. I stood at that bar for more than 25mins just waiting to be served. Some of the bartenders were nice, although there was one guy bartender who chose who he wanted to serve & then called security because a customer called him out on serving people he knew rather than people who had been waiting for ages. Security was good, door staff was great. Just needs either more bartenders on & faster service at bar.

Make sure you wear the right 'lace up' shoe. Dress code for shoes needs to be evaluated today! A lace up shoe is a lace up shoe, doesn't matter if you fancy it up by calling it a street shoe..its still a lace up sneaker. Despite witnessing other patrons entering with the same shoe that would be described as a running shoe. Shoe worn in fact was a dress shoe completely black. Poor form, and once your in, no one is looking at shoes. So keeping to a standard is pointless. Yet ladies had stripped down to Bras once inside with security ignoring.

The venue itself was lovely and the live music (visited on Friday night) in the beer garden provided patrons with a good vibe. It was disappointing however that the female security guard "asked" my cousin to leave because apparently she was 'too intoxicated'. She was literally sitting on a bench, minding her own business and waiting for her partner to get their drinks from the bar. (Side note - while it was busy, bar service was perhaps on the slow side.) Not only did the security guard with the long ponytail fail to provide a suitable explanation, she became quite aggressive and yelled at anyone and everyone who asked her what my cousin did wrong. No one was yelling, we were just asking what had happened. When we were escorted out of the club, there were at least 3 other security guards and no one was even resisting or getting physical. Honestly, it was a little overkill. When we got outside, we saw the longest line of people waiting to gain entry.... Judging from the other reviews left by other patrons, I doubt being kicked out for nonsensical reasons like being 'intoxicated'... (at a club, where you know, people go to get intoxicated) is a one time-event.
The whole experience was quite humiliating and my cousin felt (understandably) belittled and degraded. What started off as a really fun night left us all with a sour taste in our mouths.

Awesome atmosphere, outdoors in beer garden, music was great and ppl were friendly and beautiful staff , food & service.

But as the night went on, we had an unreasonable experience with a female security guard who denied a female family friend water at the bar on her 18 birthday after having 4 x alcohol beverages. Saying she was intoxicated. And to leave the premises And get water elsewhere. Then when her mother and I calmly went and intervened in the situation taking place. She turned on me saying I was intoxicated to, and screamed m at us to also leave. Seriously I assumed 3x alcohol beverages.

After speaking with the beautiful lady of the premises who was supportive of the situation. We decided to leave on our own accord. As we all felt so intimidated by the actions of this one security guard and felt her appalling behaviour disgusting. Shame on her , not responsible or reasonable at all. If anything I think she had a jealous streak, that our lovely 18 year old was getting much attention with her bubbly beautiful nature. And she didn't like it.

Good vibe on a Sunday afternoon.. good music to suit all ages, pleasant courtyard. Menu rather limited in selections however food is good quality, not large servings but adequate portion. Water mist fans are awesome on a hot day. A good place to visit and chat over a few drinks.

Absolutely terrible. Paid entry to get in on a Friday night, regretted it instantly. The music was bad and there was no ventilation which was very uncomfortable. Fast forward one hour, and I slip over a puddle of drink on the floor. Instantly, they demanded that I leave, even though I explained that it was not my fault. Security were ridiculously rude and disrespectful. Bad vibes, rude staff, just terrible. You'd be better off staying home.

Had a great night with friends.Really enjoy the acoustic guitarist tonight named Donovan.Good food. Good venue.Only complaint from our group was the galic bread. No garlic, just dry toast with a touch of bland oil.

Very good ambience. Good hospitality. Lot of space. Food is good however I felt less options in menu. Overall fantastic place to visit.

Gorgeous pub in Parramatta with a beautiful courtyard. Went there on a Saturday night with family and friends and we enjoyed it so much. Live music from 5pm (and it's just perfect) and dj from 9pm and OMG they do shisha after 10pm in the courtyard. Staff were so friendly and food was so delicious. We will definitely go back
