Good Hotel for meals & good staff and very polite - great history in this pub est.1840

Meals are fantastic & service is tip notch... our table was a little crowded with plates and my mum accidentally spilt her drink on her food trying to rearrange- the waitress immediately offered to replace the food at no charge, even though it wasn't her fault. Can't fault the place

A very warm and welcoming pub! Popped in for Sunday lunch; very fast and friendly service and the food hit the spot. The wine list was great with plenty of options.

Partner and myself popped in for a drink and meal last night. Sat at a set up table with no reserve on. ( as one would) . Soon had an aggressive staff member tell us to move. Ordered roast lamb and couldn't believe how terrible it was. wouldn't recommend.

Can only give this place an average rating, at its best. We were here 14th April for a lunch and cheeky punt. The food was amazing, honestly the best food I've had in a long time. However the lady at the front bar, horrible. People were waiting for there beers for at least 29 mins whilst she is serving the other customers at the bistro. Not an issue all good - but don't make comments like 'I can't be at two places at once' however 'sorry guys be there asap just finishing up'
The locals are your bread and butter. On top of that, people don't need to have an attitude, all they want is an acknowledgement that you can see them and you'll be there soon.

Great food, reasonable prices, nice atmosphere. Recommended. Reserve a booth for more privacy.

We went there tnite for dinner order oysters Kirkpatrick omg came out burnt and gross sent them back to reorder to basically the can't cook them wow got money back

had my grandaughters 18th birthday there food was what we expected from a expierenced chef could not fault instead told a staff member to pass congratulations to him for excellent meals well done. staff pleasant as well .

Alberton Hotel. I think they borrow angels to use as staff. Not encountered a single bad employee there ever. The food is great and the alcohol is cheap. Get your arses down there and enjoy a little slice of heaven whilst on this planet.

Great spot for lunch with friends.l caught up with loved ones for lunch they have a pensioners menu and prices are responsible good size serves and the service staff were very happy to help with water and clearing.

We have been to 2 functions here the first being a baby shower with finger food, it was all delicious. Today we had our family Christmas in the Kathleen Room for lunch, 30 people for a sit down meal and enjoyed by all. Thank You

Was waiting to get drinks in the restaurant one bar staff on her mobile the other serving went around to food counter asked for 2 drinks,was snapped at by bar staff. Then went to gaming room to have kids running around in the gaming room.

Dinner tonight, two meals purchased, one chicken parmy and one roast lamb,
The parmy was delivered with those tiny little salad bowls, this one with a very tiny amount of very old / dry salad in it, A tip for you SALAD DOESNT COST MUCH TO FILL THE TINY BOWL. Upon leaving i see a meal being delivered with a salad bowl overflowing with fresh salad, way bigger and fresher than the one i got, as a regular customer there this was very poor. The roast serves are getting smaller every time we come now, Looks like we are sticking with FASTA PASTA as the serves are so much better than the Alberton is offering lately, Sorry guys/gals but your quality has dropped.

Chicken schnitzel is number 1 here. Friendly staff. A happy place to be.

I came for dinner on a Saturday evening and boy oh boy was I impressed. I was met with smiling faces all round and within minutes of ordering my scrumptious chicken schnitzel it was being served in front of me! Talk about fast service am I right! A waitress by the name of Laura did not disappoint and even poured my water for me, never have I ever seen such kind and helpful staff in the area. Well done Alberton Hotel you will be sure to see me again!

Haven't been to Alberton Hotel for a while, but it was just S good as ever. The staff are friendly, the food is great, the service is quick and the best thing is that the prices are not over the top like some places and we will be booking in for next Sunday.

Food wasn't nice at all .. chips not cooked properly the parmy was tasteless, friends steak was chewy and over cooked (asked for rare, comes out medium well) ... beer was cold tho!!! Staff were nice.

Good old historic pub in the heart of Alberton. Plus home of the greatest Aussie Rules Football Club ever. Great meals with generous servings. Friendly staff along with a relaxed atmosphere.

Went on schnitzel night. Better then I expected. Good price and not a bad size. Chips were good too

I was welcomed by such friendly staff including the lovely runner Laura. She was so knowledgeable on the food and guided us in our eating journey. Could not recommend a better pub, or better staff!! Can't wait to come again and see those cheery faces.

Not hated..just disappointed with food bar missing veg and bread only 1/2 hour after lunch began and it took ages before they replenished it, even though they knew how many people were booked that day for lunch. Also sweets on set menu ran out. However, the staff kindly substituted others to accommodate group orders.

Clean and good service salad bar was good. Unfortunately the fish was soggy and had no taste. Prawns and calamari were like rubber. Not a great experience in all. Given the competition in pubs around here was expecting better. Seaford platter was $25 not worth it.
