Had some food in the bar area. Paid for corkage for a bottle of wine purchased through bottle shop, advised staff when ordering food. Wedges and chicken wings.
Nice service from staff. Went COMPLETELY downhill when went to gaming room with half a bottle of wine paid for. Questioned by staff "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT BOTTLE!!" I said I paid for it already! Came across as not friendly! I went to the bar and showed my receipt and said I was not happy with staff acting like that. I was greeted with very NOT FRIENDLY STAFF YELLING at me saying they were doing their job!! I I felt humiliated and upset that I bothered turning up to this hotel! HAS TO BE MY MOST UPSETTING VISIT TO A hotel EVER! I phoned back to complain and the person I spoke to was REALLY talking over me! (Yes a woman ) I didn't get a word in! It's just not good enough! (It's not the first time I have seen this woman yelling at customers. Maybe 18 months ago as well.)I have more details but haven't mentioned it. I have asked my complaint to be passed on to the manager for response. THIS IS JUST NOT ACCEPTABLE!! We go out for a good time

I didn\'t catch his name, but someone behind the bar with black curly hair on Sunday day time provided the best service I have had. Will definitely be back!!

We held our late mums memorial there yesterday the 18th of April in the Kathleen room. Was amazing, we had platters of finger food and had money on the bar. Great spot, friendly staff, great food. Highly recommend if looking for a private function room. Very happy.

After many disappointing meals here we keep coming back hoping for improvement, however tonight I have had enough. We are always a group of 6 and that is now 6 customers you have lost. Last time we had to ask for our bread rolls and the service was very lackluster. This time I had to ask again for the bread rolls and for them to come out before our meal. Well they came out but not enough of bread or butter for our group. My daughter's cutlery was dirty, our table only actually had plates for 5 yet we had booked for 6. The bread rolls were not only cold but disgustingly stale. Both my husband and my steaks were ordered as Med rare yet mine was barely cooked correctly and my husbands was well. Why ask us if you can't cook it the way we like? When I'm paying well over $150 for the night I decided to speak to the manager. After he tried to say my husbands steak looked a bit pink to him he did offer him another which we declined as their was no point. He said all the rolls are heated at 5 for dinner service at 5.30. That was it. We felt like the manager was rude and just dismissed us. Explains why none of the staff looked happy. Extremely disappointed is an understatement.
